Where are the TCP patches for 4.4?

2002-03-08 Thread Julian Elischer

I remember someone saying that they were going to make a repository
for patches for releases.

In particular I[m looking at teh TCP patches that fixed the slow transfers
in some situations. Thes changes were put in before 4.5
so I want to find them to upgrade some production 4.4 machines.

I have the diffs for 4.4p9 but they seem to be only security fixes.

That's the purpose of RELENG_4_*. No other patches are applied,
or have been to my knowledge.

If you want, I can make you some patches, I think I still remember when
they went in... however I can't do any more than that... and I suspect
since you're one of the developers, you already have a CVS repository and
can do it yourself :-D

I'm sure I can get them,
I'm just trying to find who it was that said they were compiling a set of
good patches for 4.4

You might be thinking of the thread I started, and the subsequent
web page I put up?

The only memory this triggers for me is:

Is that what you're thinking of?

That particular patch is available at..
http://apollo.backplane.com/FreeBSD.old/

It applies with to easily fixable rejects (well, I assume my changes
work, but I haven't properly tested yet :)
