I like Cava !
OK that explains why I get the same pkg_libchk result for openoffice :-)
Thanks
David

Thanks for the clarification. Having only one license in the files makes
life somewhat easier for me (e.g. for Debian you need a copyright
analysis and less exceptions is easier).

Thanks. Since everyone involved has now responded, I will include the
file.

Thank you all for your quick response! (and best wishes for 2011)

Chillout, pal.
At first, pkg_licbchk isn't a "tool for 100% headshot", and you need to be a
very accuerati with gathered results.

At second, eclipse starts via special shell script, which sets correct paths
for libraries.
And it's a usual practice for big java-depended applications.

Eclipse-3.6.1_1 amd64 error missing libjawt.so

2011-01-05 Thread David Southwell

Any ideas what may be happening here:

/usr/local/sbin/pkg_libchk
reports:
eclipse-3.6.1_1:
/usr/local/lib/eclipse/configuration/org.eclipse.osgi/bundles/149/1/.cp/libswt-
awt-gtk-3655.so misses libjawt.so
however:
dns1# whereis libjawt.so
libjawt.so: /usr/ports/java/diablo-jre16/work/diablo-
jre1.6.0_07/lib/amd64/libjawt.so

Thanks in advance

I don't disagree, but we're still waiting for clear instructions on how
to use the LICENSE tag and related infrastructure. There's nothing in
the Porter's Handbook yet.

There should probably be something in the main handbook too, so users
will know how to go about accepting or rejecting the various licenses.

New version of OpenSC not compatible with current OpenSSH port

2011-01-05 Thread Kevin Oberman
Good day,

I just learned that OpenSC 0.12.0, recently committed to ports is not
compatible with openssh-portable 5.2. It requires at least 5.3. As a
result, upgrading opensc is a serious problem for those of us depending
on SmartCards for SSH keys.

Could you mitigate this by:

Adding a note to UPDATING that upgrading opensc will break integration
with OpenSSH

Restoring the openssh-portable port to its state before the OPENSC and
OPENSCPINPATCH configuration options (along with the scardpin.patch file) were
removed?

Also, does anyone know if work is going on to port 5.3p1 or more recent?
The current released version is 5.6p1.

The file hs_err_pid38650.log is long so I uploaded it right here :

Is it possible that openjdk could be the problem?

FreeBSD Port: isc-dhcp41-server-4.1.2,1; Concurrent IPv4 DHCP and DHCPv6

2011-01-05 Thread Douglas Thrift
Hello,

Since ISC dhcpd 4.1 now supports DHCPv6, but a single instance of the
daemon can't do both IPv4 DHCP and DHCPv6, it would be nice if the rc.d
script from the port could be configured to start the daemon twice. Has
anyone thought about this at all or implemented anything?

Thanks!
