deskutils/chmsee: doesn't starts
Good day! I'm always looking for something that will replace my default chm-reader (xchm) and just see chmsee update. I wasn't able to find any screenshots so i decide to install it and try it by myself. But it doesn't ever start: """ [mrk@smeshariki2 ports]> chmsee ** (chmsee:90272): WARNING **: GECKO_UTILS >>> Couldn't find a compatible GRE! ** ERROR **: Initialize html render engine failed! aborting... """ I see the same errors in google, f.e.: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/24003 and i tried to play some games with GRE_HOME env variable. But with no luck. Can please anybody help with that. Thanks. PS. I'm using -current with libxul-1.9.2.17 and chmsee-1.3.1.1. -- Regards, Ruslan ___ freebsd-ports@freebsd.org mailing list http://lists.freebsd.org/mailman/listinfo/freebsd-ports To unsubscribe, send any mail to "freebsd-ports-unsubscr...@freebsd.org"
Porting gdbserver from Linux to FreeBSD 8.1
Hello all, I noticed that gdbserver isn't fully supported by FreeBSD, which makes it difficult for it to be remotely debugged. Because FreeBSD is commonly used in embedded systems, I could imagine that a gdbserver ported over to FreeBSD would have some use. Of course, there are some issues that would prevent easy code migration. Specifically, one of the issues with FreeBSD's gdbserver, that I feel isn't handled well, is the lack of thread awareness of the gdbserver. It looks like linux' flavor of gdbserver may be able to handle multithreading, but it doesn't seem to be very obvious. Has anyone ever tried porting over the linux version of gdbserver to FreeBSD? And if not, what other obvious changes would have to be made? So long, Lars I downloaded the patch and placed it in /usr/ports/graphics/graphviz/files/patch-1.diff Then I did make clean and then make patch and then make install clean but it stops with the same error. I'm not an expert in patching so if I'm doing it wrongly Please advise me on how to make it right.
