For future reference, ports-mgmt/portmaster handles this kind of
upgrade much better; the default behaviour is to ensure all
dependencies are up to date before updating. All of my portupgrading
woes disappeared once I switched.

HOWEVER, you might want to post this to the official spamassassin users
group, see if this is possibly an upstream problem.

You on iPV6 possibly?

or, it could have been a temp problem with the mirror.
Double check by specifically trying to DL MIRRORED.BY using fetch, on

FreeBSD port py27-openssl-0.13 bugs

2011-12-31 Thread Guru Bill
Hello,

I am having problems with this port (py27-openssl-0.13) on FreeBSD 7
(Freenas 0.7.2 - 8191)

from OpenSSL import SSL

returns:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File stdin, line 1, in module
  File /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/OpenSSL/__init__.py, line
41, in module
from OpenSSL import rand, SSL
ImportError: /usr/local/lib/python2.7/site-packages/OpenSSL/SSL.so:
Undefined symbol SSL_get_servername

I am trying to use it for SSL with sabnzbd, and found others are having the
same issue:
http://forums.sabnzbd.org/viewtopic.php?t=9425

I am not a developer, but if I can help in any way with testing, etc please
let me know.

Thanks!

Re: redports.org - The public FreeBSD ports development infrastructure

2011-12-31 Thread Vitaly Magerya
Bernhard, is there a time limit on build execution, or some other kind
of hang prevention?

My port (lang/stklos) has a known problem with hanging on 9.x, and
it's already been building for 90 minutes (normally it takes one)...
So, if you'll read this message before it is finished, please just
kill it.

This brings me to a feature request: being able to abort your own
builds before they are finished.
