FreeBSD ports you maintain which are out of date

2012-11-12 Thread portscout
Dear port maintainer,

The portscout new distfile checker has detected that one or more of your
ports appears to be out of date. Please take the opportunity to check
each of the ports listed below, and if possible and appropriate,
submit/commit an update. If any ports have already been updated, you can
safely ignore the entry.

You will not be e-mailed again for any of the port/version combinations
below.

Full details can be found at the following URL:
http://portscout.freebsd.org/po...@freebsd.org.html

Port| Current version | New version
+-+
devel/ace | 6.1.2 | 6.1.6
+-+
devel/p5-perlbrew | 0.42| 0.56
+-+

If any of the above results are invalid, please check the following page
for details on how to improve portscout's detection and selection of
distfiles on a per-port basis:

http://portscout.freebsd.org/info/portscout-portconfig.txt

If wish to stop receiving portscout reminders, please contact
portsc...@portscout.freebsd.org

Thanks.

typo3 Security updates

2012-11-12 Thread Helmut Schneider
Hi,

I submitted security-related updates on thursday (173472, 173473,
173474). While 5 days of course is not long, in the past my submissions
where at least taken by someone within a few hours so I just wanted to
check if something went wrong with the submission.

Thanks, Helmut

They look OK to me, I'll process them so they might make it into the
package set of FreeBSD 9.1-RELEASE.

Re: boost error for linux source - looking in the wrong place?

2012-11-12 Thread Beeblebrox
OK, I got lua = 5.1 installed on the system. Running configure gives same
error. This source code is looking in all the wrong places for everything.
I have also done *setenv USE_PKGCONFIG yes* prior to ./configure.

configure: error: BOOST library is missing
checking for mysql headers and libraries...
CFLAGS=-I/usr/local/include/mysql -pipe -fno-strict-aliasing -g
LIBS=-L/usr/local/lib/mysql -lmysqlclient_r  -pthread -lz -lm
checking for LIBUUID... yes
checking for LUA... no
checking for LUA... configure: error: Package requirements (lua = 5.1) were
not met:

Package lua was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `lua.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
No package 'lua' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables LUA_CFLAGS
and LUA_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

portsnap down?

2012-11-12 Thread Christoph Moench-Tegeder
Hi,

as I saw noone complaining until right now (and didn't find any
announcement about downtime): looks like portsnap does not provide
new snapshots; if I'm reading the current snapshot tag correctly,
it's from Sun Nov 11 15:54:03 CET 2012. The svnweb interface shows
way more recent commits...
Anyone to enlighten me or to nudge portsnap?

Regards,
Christoph

By the way, Tcl/Tk 8.5.13 is bound to be released in the next few days
(the first RC is out now, actually). You might want to include the
  update in your diff :)

 http://pastebin.com/UmasjFfz

I fear this won't be enough. There are implications of the update that
you're not considering, e.g., PORTREVISION, distinfo, modifications to
the patch files, ...

I suggest that you take a step back and read the FreeBSD's Porters
Handbook [1]. It is very well written and contains a lot of information
you cannot do without if you plan to maintain a port.

I'll be submitting a patch for the update to 8.5.13 (was released
earlier today) shortly.

Thanks,
