Porting Traverso

2013-09-30 Thread Joe Nosay
Javad Kouhi and myself have been working on porting this for a short while.
The FindRaptor module was imported as noted. I have sent a few emails with
what I have done to date. Currently, the problem lies with cmake not
setting the ld -l$ITEM properly. Libsamplerate/samplerate is on my system.
My previous messages are on both lists.
Is this a cmake error that can be corrected?

use several of them daily, and only had to rebuild a few.

I'm used to these unexpected less-than-full-rebuild extra-rebuilds occuring,
but am wondering if FreeBSD could more
precisely anticipate them in the UPDATING instructions someday. [Revising the

several days, and in two hours I'm already done with it AFAIK.]

[Tangentally, has anyone using pkg only, run across the same situation and
resolved it with any ease and repeatable
instructions to the ports list??? ]

I'm aways using pkg_libchk from sysutils/bsdadminscripts to check system
after update. I gives a number of false positives but besides that it's
quite sharp on what ports really deserve rebuilding.

FreeBSD ports you maintain which are out of date

2013-09-30 Thread portscout
Dear port maintainer,

The portscout new distfile checker has detected that one or more of your
ports appears to be out of date. Please take the opportunity to check
each of the ports listed below, and if possible and appropriate,
submit/commit an update. If any ports have already been updated, you can
safely ignore the entry.

You will not be e-mailed again for any of the port/version combinations
below.

Full details can be found at the following URL:
http://portscout.freebsd.org/po...@freebsd.org.html

Port| Current version | New version
+-+
graphics/libEGL | 9.1.6 | 9.2.0
+-+
graphics/libglesv2 | 9.1.6 | 9.2.0
+-+

If any of the above results are invalid, please check the following page
for details on how to improve portscout's detection and selection of
distfiles on a per-port basis:

http://portscout.freebsd.org/info/portscout-portconfig.txt

If wish to stop receiving portscout reminders, please contact

Thanks.

It's installed, but ld can't find it.
You can add /usr/local/lib/thunderbird to ldconfig path (possibly by
creating /usr/local/libdata/ldconfig/thunderbird with this in it).

I already submitted a PR about this:

FreeBSD Port: percona-server-5.5.32.31.0

2013-09-30 Thread Thomas Babut
Hi,

are there any plans on short term to update this Port to Version
5.5.33-31.1, that has been released on 27th August
(http://www.mysqlperformanceblog.com/2013/08/27/percona-server-5-5-33-31-1-
is-now-available/).

I am asking, because we want to bring new Database Servers based on
FreeBSD to production soon.

Thanks all for your effort and maintaining all the ports.

I had some problems updating the port. I've just had another look and I
have a version that builds and seems to work now. I'll test it some more
and commit it later tonight.

Don't build thunderbird with WITH_SSP_PORTS set. I'll mark the port
SSP_UNSAFE until we can figure out how to fix it properly.

Just read the thread on the forums, did you rebuild firefox after
upgrading from 9.0 to 9.1? If you didn't please do, there were problems
in 9.0 that could explain this.

OK, so i forgot to check /usr/ports/UPDATING for these sweeping changes,
thankfully i have a spare laptop as this broke my workstation, it is now
recompiling over a hundred ports.

There is a small typo in UPDATING however, pkg_delete -f libGl-\*
dri-\* should be pkg_delete -f libGL-\* dri-\*, the l in libGL needs
to be uppercase.

Thanks.

I'm getting this message too and firefox does not crash. The crash has
to be something else. Please build firefox with DEBUG, load the core
file in gdb and show us the output.

Just read the thread on the forums, did you rebuild firefox after
upgrading from 9.0 to 9.1? If you didn't please do, there were problems
in 9.0 that could explain this.

Florian

Yes, FireFox was rebuilt after upgrade to FreeBSD v9.1; however, not

SVN RELEASE_9_2_0

2013-09-30 Thread Jason C. Wells
Is FreeBSD doing something new? I don't see an SVN tag for ports for
the 9.2 release. Historically the ports tree was tagged and built a
little before -stable got tagged for release.

Thanks,

Re: sysutils/fusefs-kmod needs a poke

2013-09-30 Thread William Grzybowski
Hi,

Due to the bureaucracy involved its always best if you file a pr
(send-pr(1)) reporting the issue. Unless a portmgr steps in to fix the
problem.

Thanks
