And what is a point?
www/qt5-webengine has in Makefile python:27. If you delete :27 will pull

I did use Synth but all the time compile so many ports and I stop and
switched back to portmaster. But if I hav problem than I have a problem

ports related and I hope it is done with KDE.

Re: med

2019-12-24 Thread ajtiM via freebsd-ports
Is the proble related to /usr/ports/french/aster/bsd.aster.mk
due to the source file aster-full-src-10.8.0-3.noarch.tar.gz can't be
fetched from http://www.code-aster.org/FICHIERS/ and it is old more
than 5 years?

Thank you.

jakarta-commons

Hi!

I did try to update ports but there are problems. I do not know how to
handle jakarta-commons-?? - apache-commons-?? because LibreOffice
failed - it looked to jakarta (I have java on). I cancel everything and
wait for other updates,
IMO, should be something in /usr/ports/UPDATING.

Thank you.

Default Perl version has been switched to Perl 5.30. In my case if I
want to switch to default version and follow instructions I should
have a problem with rvxt-unicode which I am using and some other apps
to which ask or Perl 2.8 or 2.9.
I didn't upgrade but how to handle this 'problem", please?

BIMP 2.10.12 - plugin crashed

2019-07-12 Thread ajtiM via freebsd-ports
I have a problem with updated GIMP 2.10.12:

GIMP 2.10.12
Plug-in crashed: "file-jpeg"
(/usr/local/libexec/gimp/2.2/plug-ins/file-jpeg/file-jpeg)

The dying plug-in may have messed up GIMP's internal state. You may
want to save your images and restart GIMP to be on the safe side.

As I remember it was a problem with version 2.10.2 which was related to
exiv2. Is now the same problem, please? Should I downgrade exiv2?

Thank you.

Thank you but why FreeCAD need all this QT ports? IMO should be an
option to choose what the user want it. I am, for example, using an
Openbox and now I need to install all those QT whatever is.

The error looks familiar, I think it was from different llvm versions

Check your LLVM_* settings in cmake.

Yes, I did compile by myself and I found the same error happened before.
I use portmaster and it build Clang 3.4 too.

FreeBSD 10.1-RELEASE #0 r274401: Tue Nov 11 21:02:49 UTC 2014
r...@releng1.nyi.freebsd.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC amd64

I did try on KDE 4.14.2 and on Lumina desktop

The yesterdays update of gtk20 works but I have a problem with Firefox and
with GIMP: I cannot open directories or directory shows nothing. Few minutes
again I downgraded to the previous version and everything works as before. No
problems.

Thank you.

Your Skype for Linux version is being retired. Update today.
Dear swhetzel,

We are now retiring older versions of Skype and it appears that at
some
point you signed into Skype with one of these. To continue signing
into
Skype on Linux you'll need to download the latest version. The new
version comes with improved performance, the latest features and
security updates, so you'll get the best possible Skype experience.

If you're on the latest version of Skype, the above will not apply.

Update now at http://www.skype.com/download.

Someone will need to update the Skype port to the latest Linux version
and see if it works on our current version of Linux emulation.

I've read in various places (and tested myself with a couple of version on
Linux) that any version before skype 4.3.0.37 will not connect.

  The skype port at:
  https://github.com/vassilisl/freebsd-ports/tree/master/net-im/skype4 will
connect (if you use the f20 ports
  https://github.com/vassilisl/freebsd-linux_base-f20 ;) ) but it doesn't
have sound working. Both xmj and I are working on getting that version of
Skype on c6 and f20 linux emulation bases respectivelly, which basically
means get it to talk to pulseaudio.

If anyone has experience with that, please shout! :)

  Regards,
  Vassilis

Any ideas of why this happened?

  Thanks in advance.

I'm seeing a lot of these as well. CCing decke@

Yeah, the finished state is some rescue state in case something went
terribly wrong. Usually this happens when something inside redports fails
or some backend behaves very weird or if the port creates some very
  strange
situation like a recursive dependency (which fills up a temporary
  partition and then fails).

If only one of many jobs fails then chances are good that it is some
redports weirdness. If many jobs fail (like in this case) and it is
reproducible then the chances are good that your port is doing something
  very very bad.

I'm seeing these on multiple unrelated ports and with trivial changes.
I've now cleared my redports tree, leaving only one unmodified port and
it still results in all 'finished'. Maybe redport's internal ports tree
got corrupt or one of its cached packages?

Mine is modified but nothing to do with dependencies or such. However
this problem is reproducible. This is the port:

 https://redports.org/browser/fernape/lang/basic256?rev=30358

I don't see very bad things there or at least not compared with the
previous revision which finished with success

Can you think of anything I can try? I'm willing to help. I got used
to run successfully tests in redports to attach them to my PR's and I
don't want to update this port until it builds properly.

teTeX-base

2014-06-13 Thread Ajtim
Hi!

On 18th April did submit a bug report for teTeX-base which doesn't build on my
system (I did send email to maintainer too-no response), FreeBSD 10.0-RELEASE
(amd 64). Today is 13th June and I have the same problem still. Does anyone
has the same problem or is something wrong with my system, please?

http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/188765

Thank you.

So far the ports I have seen this are www/midori, www/chromium,
editors/libreoffice; but I have not tested all ports installed on the
system.

I have read UPDATING, and it does not apply to my situation since I
do a
full poudriere run of all ports on the system before each # pkg
upgrade
-r
myrepo. Recent freetype update (20140416) should therefore not cause
any
issue for me.

Is this a problem with the specific ports listed, or a libfreetype
error?
I'd like to know before I add a libfreetype.so.9 entry to
/etc/libmap.conf.
In /usr/local/lib: libfreetype.a / libfreetype.so /
libfreetype.so.6.11.2
/
libfreetype.la / libfreetype.so.6

http://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/print/freetype2/pkg-plist?r1=3475

Use sysutils/libchk and 'pkg which' to find the port that is linked
against the old library and needs rebuild.

sysutils/bsdadminscripts has pkg_libchk, which is somewhat nicer. Use
'pkg_libchk -qo' to display the list of ports that need to be rebuilt.

I did check and rebuild again and I have still:

  bootstrap-openjdk-r348097: /usr/local/bootstrap-
  openjdk/jre/lib/amd64/libfontmanager.so misses libfreetype.so.9

This is a binary package. The maintainer (jkim@) has to rebuild and upload
 it.
  compat8x-amd64-8.4.804000.201310_2: /usr/local/lib/compat/libopie.so.6
  misses libmd.so.5
  compat8x-amd64-8.4.804000.201310_2: /usr/local/lib/compat/libtacplus.so.4
  misses libmd.so.5

 Do you miss misc/compat9x?

No, I have misc/compat9x installed
My system is FreeBSD 10.0-RELEASE (amd64)

Guess something needs to tell it deinstall 'audio/libmtp' instead of
 'multimedia/libmtp' for this case.

Namely portmaster's REPLACE_ORIGIN mode, where it does a pkg query to find
existing versions of the port and deletes them before (re-)installing the
 port.

 So, ended up invoking:

portmaster -o multimedia/libmtp audio/libmtp

 Though in retrospect, perhaps

pkg set -o audio/libmtp:multimedia/libmtp

  Hi,

I've been working on replacing the base linux distribution (currently
rusty old Fedora 10) with CentOS 6.5, likewise for about two dozen
non-base ports - mostly requirements of either net-im/skype4 or
  www/linux-c6-flashplugin11.

I mentioned that before on the -emulation@ mailinglist and got very
  helpful
  feedback.

As I've run out of issues to fix and would like to reach a wider audience
for these ports, I'd appreciate if you could help me test it some more.

To do that, you can either:
  * download the txz from http://xmj.me/freebsd/linux-ports.txz
  * download the diff from http://xmj.me/freebsd/linux-ports.diff.xz

  * clone my git repo; https://github.com/xmj/linux-ports/ (preferred)

and copy/apply them to your portstree.

In order to get either Skype 4.2.0.13 or Flash running, you can follow the
  instructions listed on

  https://github.com/xmj/linux-ports/blob/master/README.md

I hope they're by now sufficient to allow you to follow them blindly. If
not, I appreciate feedback here on the mailing list as well as
  Issues/Pull requests.

Best regards and have fun testing,

  Johannes

Thanks from me too. It works perfect on FreeBSD 10.0-RELEASE (amd64) installed
on iMac 11,1. Also Flash plugin works great.
Thank you.

  There you go ^

Looks like you need to rebuild lapack, blas or something related to it
  (some
  numpy dependency at least).

I did rebuild blas and lapack and the problem exist:

lapack and blas were suggestions based on numpy's dependencies. Start by
finding out which port installs libalapack.so and go from there. Some
quick googling for libalapack already shows ports/176993, for example.

Thank you very much. I did reinstall py-numpy and py-mathplotlib and it works
:).
