Problems with Twinkle 1.0.4
Hi! Situation: FreeBSD 7.0-RC1 i386 with all ports installed from cd or pkg_add -r port. Desktop KDE. Twinkle 1.0.4. uname -a FreeBSD klingon.vlex.com 7.0-RC1 FreeBSD 7.0-RC1 #0: Mon Dec 24 12:18:24 UTC 2007 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC i386 pciconf -lv attached to this email (txt). System sound works fine, with snd_es137x.ko sound module. Twinkle: Wizard and config are fine, and if I read twinkle log, is connected to my voip switchboard (we use sip). But the yellow star in the kicker appears in grey colour (not yellow). And if I try to make a right mouse click over the twinkle logo in kicker, or a double-click, nothing happens. /dev/mixer0 and /dev/dsp0.0 has 666 permissions. Re: Deinstalling KDE.
2007/10/31, Doug Barton [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Any idea to make this? portmaster has an expunge option to handle this. You can use the following procedure to eliminate all the leaf ports for kde, and all of their dependencies (that you don't want to keep) in an orderly fashion: cd /usr/ports/ports-mgmt/portmaster make clean ; make install clean Lowell, Doug and RW... Thank you very much for your great help. Muchas gracias. I know a bit portmaster, but I don't remember the name of the port pkg_cutleaves, that is something like the orphaned apt. Muchas gracias de nuevo (thank you very much again). -- Have a nice day ;-) TooManySecrets Dijo Confucio: Exígete mucho a ti mismo y espera poco de los demás. Deinstalling KDE.
Hi! First, excuse me if thi isn't the right place to make this question. I need to deinstall all kde, but without touch k3b and QT. I'm thinking to use pkd_delete -f, but all libraries will remain in system. If I use a pkg_delete -rf, QT library could be deleted. Any idea to make this? How to make a make install without questions?
Hi! Excuse me if this is a estupid question, but in six years with FreeBSD, today I haven't still an answer to this: - If I make a make install clean, in a port like x11/kde3, are there any way to make the lack of questions? Or maybe better, are there any way to make anything like make -y (or -Y for YES options) install clean? The trouble is ports like KDE, with platform independency (more or less cpu power), take more time because you need to stay (more or less) in front of computer to choose and accept the port options. I understand that you don't need this with other ports (like apache, php, etc), for obvious reasons. But I think that with ports like gnome2 or kde3, maybe I believe that it would be a great saving of time. Sorry if the question is understandable for my bad english. -- Have a nice day ;-) TooManySecrets Dijo Confucio: Exígete mucho a ti mismo y espera poco de los demás.
