astro/opencpn marked deprecated

Hello.

I see many ports have been marked deprecated two days ago, as they've 
been broken for more than six months.


Among this, astro/opencpn, which I maintain: I opened a bug report (1) 
in January in order to upgrade and fix this.

However iw was never committed.

Is something wrong with that patch?
