Problem Installing FreeBSD 6.0, asking for help
Hello, may I ask you for help with the following Problem: When I try to install FreeBsd6.0, there is the following error during the boot process (because the system is not able to boot from CD, I have to boot from floppy) occurs: ahc0: probe1:ahc0:0:1:0: SCB 6: immediate reset Flags 0x620 ahc0: probe1:ahc0:0:1:0: No longer in timeout, status=25b ahc0: Issued channel A bus reset, SCBs 6 aborted. ... ... ... There are variants of the messages with different SCB, flags and status. As a result, the install program does not find any disk. FreeBSD5.2 is running and dmesg produces the following output: Copyright (c) 1992-2004 The FreeBSD Project.
