As I recall, I had to add this line to loader.conf because it wouldn't autoload it: if_bwn_load=YES # Broadcom BCM43xx IEEE 802.11 wireless NICs Someone may have fixed it by now. I have an HP pavilion zd825us which has a Broadcom ethernet that appears to be supported by the new bwn driver. I have, for several years now, been using the NDIS driver based on Project Evil. Since bwn came out in 8.1, I tried it and it pretty much works but I get a couple errors sporadically.
