It's up to your hardware to support DDR. The opsys just sees whatever 
amount of (whatever type of) memory the hardware interface provides.

plus, you could guess so from the threads discussing e. g. VIA
KT266/KT333 based boards on this list. :)

FreeBSD supports whatever memory your chipset supports. I don't think
there is any specific driver support to allow an OS to use DDR over SDR
SDRAM. So yes, it does, and so does any other OS that runs on a PC.
