Ftp clients have a default for passive mode. Some default to using it and others to having it off. I have encountered ftp clients in the PC world that have problems with the default mode. Often its because of a firewall issue somewhere along the line. I guess my response wasn't as clear as I thought it was. Ftp clients have a default for passive mode. Some default to using it and others to having it off. I have encountered ftp clients in the PC world that have problems with the default mode. Often its because of a firewall issue somewhere along the line.
