Are you supposed to have GLX on your card?  
You can always deconfigure it.

   I'm also seeing a lot of segment faults in KDE since that started
 to appear.  Anyone know why this is being caused and how to fix this?

Are you sure they're connected?  What are you doing when the bad
accesses occur?
