Production server is running apache13/php4/mysql4.
Have fresh 6.1 install on workbench PC.
Workbench PC is being used to build apache13/php5/mysql51
environment
for working php web application writing and reading mysql database.

Installed mysql51-server then php5 and made sure make config had
apache support.

When I executed the web application I get
Fatal error: Call to undefined function mysql_pconnect() in
/usr/local/www/mls/signup.php on line 348.

Is there some other port now required to get php to talk to mysql???

Hi
You can install the php5-extensions port...
/usr/ports/lang/php5-extensions
and run a make config to decide on what you need.
