You might also find it nice to know that tonight, the Release
Engineering Team has announced that the official builds of the
5.0-RC2 (second release candidate) prerelease will be started.

If no serious problems occur while this second prerelease is
prepared, 5.0-RC2 should soon hit the mirrors.  `Soon' being
anything from hours to a few days.

The release schedule is constantly updated with the latest news
of the 5.0-RELEASE release process.  You can check the schedule
at any time for the very latest and up to date news.
