screen from the ports, right?  I use it on FreeBSD-5.0-RELEASE, no
problems.

Was it a clean install of FreeBSD 5?  Or did you go for an upgrade of
an existing 4.x build?  Either way, try rebuilding the screen port 
from a new ports framework, and see how you go.

I recently setup a new system under Freebsd 5.0.

I use screen multiuser for some applications and have made no change
other than the upgrade.

For some reason, I am unable to attach to these multiuser sessions.  :-(

Screen gives me the error:

The only thing I could see that might cause this is screen not being
