I did (twice, just to be sure) and it didn't seem to update oaf port.

su-2.05b# cvsup -g -L 2 /etc/ports-supfile
Parsing supfile "/etc/ports-supfile"
Connecting to cvsup10.FreeBSD.org

Updating collection ports-all/cvs
 Edit ports/security/nmap/Makefile
  Add delta 1.59 2002.10.18.18.29.33 obrien

Also, the version seems to be the same.

# portversion oaf
oaf =

Although, this could be for the vendor version (which wouldn't include
package specific bugfixes etc.). How do I check for these types of things,
aside from viewing the cvsup output?

Also, how long does it usually take to update on all the mirrors?

This should be fixed now. Just cvsup ports, and upgrade oaf.

Yes, I can get off my ass and fix it.

oaf-slay not working.

2002-10-18 Thread Nick Jennings
Hi All,

I am using evolution 1.0.8, and it has a tendency to not completely die
when you close it (various processes still run in the background).

The oaf-slay command is what is used to take care of this. For instance
when you need to modify the evolution data by hand, you must make sure
 not evolution processes are running.

On my various linux machines, oaf-slay works fine, however on my BSD
box I get the following error:

su-2.05b# oaf-slay

Can not open directory /usr/X11R6/share/oaf
No such file or directory

su-2.05b# mkdir /usr/X11R6/share/oaf
su-2.05b# oaf-slay
ps: args: keyword not found
su-2.05b#

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this problem?
