Hello,

are you use gpt-partion? Try the old MBR Partion types. Its seem to be 
somthing is broken in the lenovo bios.

I had the same issue with a Lenovo T420s, which has EFI booting as an
option, but I neved managed to get it working. I had to install 9.0
"the old way", using mbr instead of GPT, to get it to boot.
