[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #22636] pathfinding useless code
Follow-up Comment #6, bug #22636 (project freeciv): For release notes, did this cause any actual misbehaviour? At worse it was causing more CPU usage. But I have never observed it, nor it was reported. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?22636 ___ Message posté via/par Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev

Follow-up Comment #4, bug #22722 (project freeciv): Guess -- was this introduced by bug #22624? Yes, so there was no released containing this bug. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?22722 ___ Message posté via/par Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
Re: [Freeciv-Dev] 2.5 Release Goals (and 2.5.0-beta2)
Thank you very much, you have again done a very great job ! - Pepeto Le mardi 28 octobre 2014 à 01:48 +, Jacob Nevins a écrit : I wrote: Summary: I'm not aware of any major reasons not to spin a beta2 release soonish. In particular, I haven't spotted anything outstanding in the beta1 bug reports that would block another beta. Anyone got anything? Otherwise I'll suggest a date. Bugs have come out of the woodwork, and blockers are now tracked at http://gna.org/task/?7861. [Freeciv-Dev] [bug #22781] Windows start script issues
Follow-up Comment #6, bug #22781 (project freeciv): We should set eol-style to CRLF (on all environments)? [Freeciv-Dev] [bug #22847] reset in server/commands.c
Follow-up Comment #5, bug #22847 (project freeciv): Does some client allow you to configure this? This is probably easier to control at the level of the text editor. Certainly TextWrangler, which i use, has preferences for three different kinds of line endings, stripping trailing white space, etc. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?22847 ___ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #22773] freeciv fails to build from source when building twice in a row due to missing mkinstalldirs file
Update of bug #22773 (project freeciv): Status:None = In Progress ___ Follow-up Comment #1: - mkinstalldirs is gone from TRUNK, but it is in S2_4 and S2_5. Maybe we could still backport related changes to S2_5, but S2_4 is close to end-of-life and should be very stable (no risky build system changes) - I take it autoreconfigured in the report means autoreconf and not running our autogen.sh. I couldn't reproduce from svn, but checking Makefile.am it seems that mkinstalldirs is not being (explicitly) packaged to tarball. It's possible that odler versions of automake used to package mkinstalldirs automatically but newer versions do not. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?22773 ___ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev
[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #22773] freeciv fails to build from source when building twice in a row due to missing mkinstalldirs file
Follow-up Comment #2, bug #22773 (project freeciv): Argh, I send this one only to Marko. On 28.10.2014 21:29, Marko Lindqvist wrote: [...] - I take it autoreconfigured in the report means autoreconf and not running our autogen.sh. Indeed. I used autoreconf and automake 1.14 from Debian unstable. It think this is not an issue for 2.4 anymore but since mkinstalldirs is deprecated it might make sense to backport the change to 2.5. ___ Reply to this item at: http://gna.org/bugs/?22773 ___ Message sent via/by Gna! http://gna.org/ ___ Freeciv-dev mailing list Freeciv-dev@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/freeciv-dev

[Freeciv-Dev] [patch #5398] Private games protected with password
URL: http://gna.org/patch/?5398 Summary: Private games protected with password Project: Freeciv Submitted by: andreasr Submitted on: Tue 28 Oct 2014 09:20:08 PM UTC Category: general Priority: 5 - Normal Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Planned Release: ___ Details: It was suggested by Nick F. in freeciv-dev, that it would be useful to host private games on Freeciv-web and also regular Freeciv servers. By letting users specify a password which is specific to a Freeciv server instance, only players who know the correct password are allowed to enter that game.
