Follow-up Comment #2:

Added cancel button.

Btw right mouse click also closes that production widget (and many other
widgets like reports, unit selection - its just easier than looking for close
button)

[Freeciv-Dev] [bug #21009] There's no way to cancel production change

2013-08-08 Thread David Lowe
Follow-up Comment #1, bug #21009 (project freeciv):

I would vote for expanding this wish. One thing that all clients are lacking
is a cancel button. I feel it made for a steeper learning curve when i first
started out, since there was no easy way to experiment without losing track of
what the city was doing originally.

Details:

It seems there's no way to cancel production menu once it has been opened.
Neither clicking outside it or Esc key does nothing. One has to select
something. This applies both to current production and worklist menu. This is
especially annoying when one is building unit and has 'Show units' toggled off
so that current production is not even selectable from the menu, but one has
to select something else + toggle 'Show units' + restore old production.
One should be able to cancel the menu without selecting anything to keep
current production.
