[Freeciv-Dev] [task #7955] IPv6-enable colossus.freeciv.org

2016-07-24 Thread Jacob Nevins
Follow-up Comment #1, task #7955 (project freeciv):

> sort out IPv6 on the VM host (warhost.wz2100.net)
I now have native IPv6 connectivity myself, and have to specify "-4" to get to
the host's SSH server. So it looks like there's work here.

Details:

The virtual machine hosting Freeciv infrastructure, notably meta.freeciv.org,
is not properly accessible via IPv6.

Our ISP (Hetzner) can give us IPv6, so we need to
* sort out IPv6 on the VM host (warhost.wz2100.net)
* sort out IPv6 on colossus itself (including the name server)
* maybe some DNS faff with Verisign (and hence paulz)?
