This is one of the "official" use-cases.[0] Look at the liste of potential targets[1] if you need a device with more than one ethernet port (or use a USB-network card). The wrt1200ac is a nice device but you will reach the limitations of the hardware if you want to run more demanding Freedombox services on it.
