Re: [Freedombox-discuss] Manual: Apps definition

2015-12-16 Thread Dietmar
Salut Philippe,

my apologies for the brief mails I sent during the day, I have been
trying to do multitasking at work, which ended in not being precise in
my thoughts.
I like the current structure of
https://wiki.debian.org/FreedomBox/Features where you give a brief intro
into the possibilities of the box, an overview as appetizer.
If we just do links to the app pages you created? Such as from "Upload
and share files (ownCloud)" in "Features" linking to
https://wiki.debian.org/FreedomBox/Manual/ownCloud etc.

 Hi Phillipe

I meant the "features' from the portal of our wiki.

hello Dietmar,
this is an interesting point that you are raising. It is possible to use
these pages to replace the current content.
The current "features" page is meant to have a quick view on the
available apps.

It looks like this, directly accessible from the wiki home page:
https://wiki.debian.org/FreedomBox/Features

It would look like this:
https://wiki.debian.org/FreedomBox/Introduction/FeaturesTest

what do you think? imo, better to keep having a lightweight introduction
page for features. and link to the manual for complete details.

Great, that is an important step.
Are the links from the features Web site also set?
I am not sure if I can still look  into these this week.
