could you file the list of problems which are mentioned in this thread as Bugzilla entries?

I already filled in all the 5 bugs (3 kernel and 2 SYS bugs) I reported but the DOS extender bugs.


I believe some RTM did work - and Lucho found a very small binary patch to fix 32RTM - so Lucho, please try to remember what you patched and why, thanks.

Just remembered! :) If 32RTM is loaded without the so-called "BitMixer", it works (e.g. load 32RTM -X and run TLIB - it works now, then unload RTM -U). So I had changed the byte at offset 284h that controls whether "BixMixer" is enabled from 0 (enabled) to 1 (disabled). Now when I run a Borland program that uses 32RTM, 32RTM gets loaded without "BitMixer", even though the Borland program doesn't explicitly use -X. Unfortunately I don't have the slightest idea what "BitMixer" is... :(
