Ditto. Aren't we fed up with these "GUIs" everywhere? Really a pity that
since a longer time I cannot use Lynx, because no site presently has
alternate pages for text-mode browser, that was keeping all that shiny
"trendy-jazzy" trash away, passing through just pure information I was
looking for

In DOS, PC-DOS, MS-DOS or FreeDOS there is a prompt, not a shell like
Windows from 1 to 3.11.

Windows 95/98 are a GUI to DOS.

In DOS you have to type everything and Windows you have to click everything.

DOS = No GUI.

Actually both FDISK versions had the same maintainer
and they are both several years old, so this is not
a problem caused by somebody forking something ;-)

It failed to work at all in one version and created
overlapping partitions :-o in another version when
tested in a rather normal context.

If others have experienced similar problems, it
would be good to hear about that here. Also, if
you know what causes this or whether it depends
on command line options or config file settings,
please share your insights :-)
