  Hi..

 utilidades y funciones nuevas.

never got further than that. Haven't heard from them since. Looking

 Hi,

have you known this FreeDOS distribution: uDOS?
uDOS is a free operating system built on the FreeDOS kernel with DJGPP.
uDOS provides an integrated suite of features inluding Perl, Python,

support.
Can be run live from CD image.
 Looks interesting...

Re: [Freedos-user] FreeDOS on VMware Image

2006-10-18 Thread Michael McStarfighter
What I search is a ready-to-go VMware Image of FreeDOS 1.0 and not an option to mount an image. Additionally in a running windows you can't clone the image with backup software like True Image or Ghost because the drive administration (I don't know how it is named in an english XP) doesn't detect such mounted hard drives.

2006-10-18 Thread Michael McStarfighter
(sorry guys, I write it in german...)

Hi,

Re: [Freedos-user] Freedos on USB memor stick (partially solved)

2006-10-16 Thread Michael McStarfighter
How do you install the full distro onto an USB flash drive / USB-HD? The HP tool doesn't work for this, especially not with an USB-HD. And everytime I boot the FreeDOS full CD with a plugged-in USB-HD or USB flash drive, there comes an Invalid Opcode and then it stops.

So what to do ?

[Freedos-user] Kernel question

2006-03-19 Thread Michael McStarfighter
Hi,

I want to know if the original FreeDOS kernel is 16bit or 32bit. I ask it because I coincidentallyfound the website http://freedos-32.sourceforge.net/and I want to use 32bit tools in FreeDOS, too (perhaps).

Thanks for answer.

P.S.: Answering in german language is preferred for me but english is possible, too (of course).

[Freedos-user] NTFS and USB

Hi,

is it possible to get r/w access to NTFS? I have the Winternals Admin Pack 5.0 which includes the NTFSDOS driver, but I don't know how to integrate it into FreeDOS. And ATM I can't find about native access to NTFS from FreeDOS.

The same question I have about USB access.

Thanks a lot.
