AgentGL: agent-based modeling meets OpenGL

A group of us from Ed Angel's OpenGL class will have an informal discussion
about implementing ABM in webgl and opengl ES mobile environments. Owen has
a basic heatbug example at:
  http://backspaces.net/CS591/nl0/nl0.html

http://backspaces.net/CS591/nl0/nl0.htmlOthers are working on more shader
and texture-based approaches to patch-level interactions.

Please come by if you're interested. If anyone wants a burrito from
bumblebee, I'll be picking an order up at 11:45a. Let me know by 11:30a.
mobile 577-5828 or email.

I wasn't able to attend the meeting today, but I'd like to put in a
plug for VPython (vpython.org) for visualization purposes. This lets
you do quite elaborate 3D animations/visualizations for Python
programs using OpenGL, cross-platform, with an exceptionally easy to
use implementation of a fairly wide variety of objects and automatic
creation of windows and associated event handling.
