I did ask for some kind of support for this a while ago. Since then I
got used to not having it, but even so ended up using rox as a desktop
app.

You can also use xffm-4.3 which is compatible with fvwm-root, and also
contains an extension of fvwm-root (called xffm-root) which is linked with
gdkpixbuf library and allows a wider range of formats for background
images.

Here's a screenshot of fvwm in combination with xffm-deskview:

xffm-5.0 should be released in a month or two, without any xfce
dependencies.

It's not its intended purpose, but a module a lot of people overlook
(just like everything else) is 'FvwmDragWell'. Go forth and use that
as a basis.

There is a spec for the X server: the Xdnd. Most X apps use it, and
Fvwm has the Drag Well module which supports it:

Unfortunatly I was kicked out of business in Strasbourg/France
and now I am flying around the world and do my "old" military
job and I have very less time for bigger codeing.

Fortunatly my own Servers are up and runing...

Right.

I was thinking on a module...

I hope...

Is there a specification for those DnD stuff under Linux??
I was searching some years ago, but found nothing.

I think, the Desktop icons should something like a module.
DnD support like the menus too.
