Nope. It's only the 2.7 GHz early 2005 and all the late 2005 G5s, no
2004 at all.

All the early 2005 and before except for the 2.7 GHz are air-cooled.

I have found that the only foolproof solution against this kind of

That's what I do, and it saves me time and aggravation. My mailbox(es)

!) Download Mactracker. It's free. You can see any info needed for any
Apple/Mac product.
goto

2) To find out what Mac you have, write down the SerialNumber (has always 11
char.'s), which you can find in your System Profiler.

3) Then goto and put
in your SN.

4) Now you know exactly what G5 you have and with Mactracker you'll find out
if it's watercooled or not. (And more, haha!)

Oc, there are other ways to find out and determine but IMHO this is one of
the easiest and simpliest ways to find an answer on your queries.

Please, when you introduce a new subject, do not reply to another posting. Copy

Those are references to unique messageIDs for earlier postings relating to the
same thread. It's possible to combine all the postings in a thread even if
small changes, like Aw: added instead of Re:, are made. Many mail clients will
do this if asked but they get confused when new postings are made while
hijacking a thread and just changing the subject.

live.com is MS.

Go into the service and look up the current settings requirements.
They have changed the authorization or port requirements.

Ultimately, a better solution, would be to throw your email thru a
reliable provider, not Microsoft.

Twitter OAuth @#$% on Tiger

2010-09-02 Thread Dan
Twitter has changed the way 3rd party apps access their site, now
requiring OAuth.

Until Twitter made this change on 31 Aug, was using NetNewWire to
watch my RSS twitter feed. But now it's broke, and the new vers of
NNW requires Leopard/SL.

Are there any decent apps for viewing Twitter stuff, that support
OAuth and run on Tiger?

Thx,

SeaMonkey/SMTP

Don't mean to go off topic but I'm a little desperate! Having an issue
with SM 1.1.18 outgoing email. Can receive emails but not send any
out. Get this message: "Sending of message failed. The message could
not be sent because connecting toSMTP server smtp.live.com failed. The
server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please
verify that your SMTP server setting is correct and try again, or else
contact your network administrator." Have called Qwest and they won't
deal with SM. All my incoming and outgoing settings are correct with
their parameters. Anyone have any suggestions? I have posted on
Mozilla forums and received nothing to correct problem. And yes, I'm
going to upgrade to 2.0.6 when I get this fixed! thanks ahead of time!

That depends on the connector on the Cinema Display. If it's an ADC you need to
get the DVIator, from Dr. Bott. This
will work with any modern DVI output from a PC.

I don't believe it's made any more, and it's expensive:
