Re: Yahoo mail troubles
ATTENTION LISTERS: 1. DO NOT move to the YAHOO NEW MAIL it is a mess, buggy, slow, all in all a first year programmers D- grade project. 2. IF YOU DID make the mistake of going to NEW MAIL, under the GEAR you can select the BASIC version, this too is grade D- but is better than the FANCY mail that is a mess, it does not have next message, so you have to constantly go back to INBOX to select the next message. 3. GMAIL is far too hard to use, is not popular, but does work. 4. I have sent 3 hard copy letters to YAHOO CEO but got nowhere. 5. I have posted DANGERS on Yahoo QUESTIONS and now THEY CLAIM I have to change my password ON EACH OF 7 ACCOUNTS what a cheap shot. 6. Apple mail is poor and hard to use also. 7. Does anyone have a simple mail to use? 8. I even offered to PAY YAHOO to return me to CLASSIC, but they refused. 9. We have been using Yahoo Mail as the best start up and put about 10 new accounts on per month, now NONE AT ALL. JML. Re: Dead after copying files to an external firewire drive.
Uggh, I suspect you may be correct about a bad MB. You seem to have eliminated every other possibility..one thing you didn't mention, have you tried it without having the battery in it? Yes I did try without the battery and it did not do anything either. I will try what Clark suggested as far as unplugging things and attaching the power cord to see what happens as soon as I can (hopefully) tomorrow and will let you know what it does. Any problems or major difficulties I should know about as far as changing out the logic board? Thanks again to all! Re: Re: Yahoo mail troubles
Once again - use the mobile version. It works fine on a desktop. The url is: http://us.m.yahoo.com/p/mail Cut and paste that into your browser. You don't have to give up your yahoo email address.
