G4 Powerbook power problems
My wife has a G4 Powerbook. We replaced the AC adapter cord once already, but it is not charging again. I have carefully pinched the metal part to make it fit more tightly, but still no power. The battery is weak, but it was still working as of two days ago. I don't need it to work for long, just long enough to copy a document to a thumbdrive. I don't know anyone in the area with a battery that we could swap until the job is done. G4 won't boot from the HD
My son's G4 won't boot from the HD. I opened it in target mode and used Disk Utility. These are the messages I am getting: Under Verify and Repair Invalid sibling link Volume check failed The underlying task reported failure on exit What would be my next steps without erasing the HD?
