Re: Adobe CS2 licence broken

2016-09-10 Thread Jörg Duurkoop
Thanks for your comments.

I found the free downloads albeit not in Dutch, the Dutch apps were Windows
only. So I downloaded Illustrator and Photoshop in German, my original
language. Had to downgrade Photoshop one version, though.

I first installed the complete CS2 but it didn't contain Acrobat Pro and my
original version wouldn't start anymore after that. So I went back to
separate PS and AI and my Dutch Acrobat works again. So I'm kinda OK again.

Re: Adobe CS2 licence broken

2016-09-09 Thread 'Glen' via G-Group
I did not have any problems moving my CS2 from a G5 back to a G4 a few months
ago.

Adobe did changed the old link to the CS2 download page with the needed
activation numbers. However the activation numbers on the new page are the same
as the old page.

The new link is:
http://www.adobe.com/downloads/other-downloads.html

You can download a copy of the old Adobe CS2 page from my Dropbox at:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/p2y6e0kdtdytgvd/Adobe%20CS2%20%20Downloads.zip?dl=0

Maybe reinstall CS2??? Good luck, glen

Re: Adobe CS2 licence broken

2016-09-09 Thread James E. Therrault
I would think that you simply have to reinstall CS2 from the original download.
When I did so when it became free several years ago, I installed it on my old
G4 Gigabit, a later G4 1.25GHz PowerBook and even on my late 2009 Mac Mini
running Snow Leopard. The original download included the license number that
makes the installation permanent.

I gave up trying to leverage freebies when I decided to at least try to be
serious about what I was doing.

I could not afford the Adobe programs I wanted. Suffered years of
disappointment. Thought I would have to save to buy just one. Actually did
get Dreamweaver CS2. Got some Adobe access through the University, taking
classes ( you could register as a Senior guest perhaps?)
Wound up using GIMP, work got done but not in a happy way. And open source
video proggies never worked for me.

I accept Adobe Cloud as the blessing it is. Cheap enough because it keeps
me from doing stupid things with the money.

I recommend it.
Having programs that ACTUALLY WORK , can do the many things better since
CS2, with support is VERY satisfying.

YOUR WORK WILL GREATLY IMPROVE

YOU WILL HAVE A LOT LESS TO WORRY ABOUT
