Re: Compressing DVD9
You can get a free trial version of DVD2OneX: http://www.afterdawn.com/software/alternative_platforms/mac_software/dvd2onex.cfm I haven't tried it, since I've gotten used to using the free DVDshrink on a PC, but afterdawn.com is usually pretty good for advice and recommendations. --~--~-~--~~~---~--~~ You received this message because you are a member of G-Group, a group for those using G3, G4, and G5 desktop Macs - with a particular focus on Power Macs. I've tried it and plan to purchase. After some trial and error , some off list help and using Mac DVDRipper Pro (MDRP) I've got it to work. Amazing really. very sweet. Compressing DVD9
I'm seeing one or two (or they may be the same) software packages for compressing DVD9 to DVD5 for the Intel architecture, but not finding anything for 10.4.11 I'm familiar with the standard converters Handbrake MacTheRipper MPEG and not trying MDRP (which is very speedy) but these don't seem to offer compression features any suggestions are appreciated.
