Yes, I've gone through and rotated those of them rightside-up, and indeed those DO show up correctly-oriented when viewed in the FINDER, or GRAPHIC CONVERTOR and PREVIEW... but not in the screensaver slideshow. Go into the screen saver system preferences, select a different folder then re-select your folder as the slideshow. I've noticed that once it generates the cached image, it prefers it and seems to not re-check the original. Revisiting this, just went back through the folder, took all of the vertical-shot pics and pulled them into PREVIEW, rotated them this way and that and re-saved them upright. Went to the SYS PREFS SCREEN SAVER app and assigned a wholly different folder and closed it. Re- opened it and assigned it back to the folder I want. Vertical pics still all show up sideways when the screensaver runs the slideshow. Any other ideas? Are they all jpegs or are some of them PDF's? I ran into this kind of thing a while back, and as I recall it was something to do with the PDF format...try saving one of the rotated images as a new file and see if it still displays un-rotated. Re: screen saver photos
Could also be that GraphicConverter isn't saving the EXIF data properly. I've run into this issue before, especially if my digicam is set to autorotate. -J On Tue, Sep 25, 2012 at 11:52 AM, Bruce Johnson john...@pharmacy.arizona.edu wrote: Are they all jpegs or are some of them PDF's?
