I cannot think of why this won't work. Try it, and if you're concerned, 
put some 6GB HDs in there. It's always good to have some handy...I have 
a few idling about for things just like these.

put some 6GB HDs in there. It's always good to have some handy...I have
a few idling about for things just like these.

If the box has no internal fan, I'd be worried about heat.  Such 
boxes are not designed to hold two devices (two loads, double the 
heat, etc).
