[Audyssey] A new sound pack for SoundRTS
Hello all, Those who want something new for their shiny SoundRTS game, i've merged the two great soundpacks from (Ken Downey and Brian Smart) and Sebastian Delit), and replaced the older version of Scansoft daniel with Scansoft Lee (australian accent). The pack contains all of the in-game voices except those of the campaign, and if it will be a great success, i will update it when a newer version of the game or the packs will be available. Re: [Audyssey] Status of DanZGames
Hi Damien, Perhaps we can colaberate on this goal. I have been considering this very thing, and have been putting a section up on my site to host Dan's games. I thought of either buying the rights to his games or simply getting permission to eventually upgrade them to Java or some other language so that they might be multiplatform. As I have been busy I haven't inquired as yet. So if Dan and you work something else out cool. If just know I am interested in aquiring the rights to those games. I am also interested in eventually taking over and resuming work on Dark Destroyer and Tarzan from PB Games. Though, obviously all work on any titles has to wait until I finish with Raceway and the other stuff I got from James North. You're a Golem craftsman, and you construct your own golems from parts which are then made from resources to attack players and monsters with. That's not all, though. When you sign up, you have a workshop, complete with a worktable to atatch parts to golems and also to repair cevered limbs in combat. Also, the game actually has a world. Your workshop has a location, where you can go out as your character and see the surrounding areas of it. Also, the combat descriptions aren't detailed, but they're nice enough to read, unlike other games where it's just a table of numbers with nothing about advancement, etc, it's always presented in a spreadsheat-like form, but not here. Each event is a round, and events aren't placed in the same rounds, providing easier reading of combat results. I haven't yet provided the compus, but if there is anyone on here who plays from the AGF, do you know if the map screen used in other areas is the same as the other map? If it's the same, well then I think this is the first game with exploring that I've seen where maps are accessible, finally!
