2012-11-26 Thread Jim Kitchen

Hi Jewel,

You should not need to attach Microsoft Anna to my games. My games by default
are set to use your computer's default sapi5 voice. So as long as Anna is
working and is set as your computer's default voice, it should be working. You
know unless you might have copied the games from your old computer or something
like that.

[Audyssey] Alter Aeon Post-Thanksgiving Event

2012-11-26 Thread Dennis Towne
As a finisher for this years Thanksgiving, we'll be running a small
event for the next two days, from Monday Nov 26th through Tuesday Nov
27th:

Wild turkeys have overrun a farm, and you can help clean up the
infestation! Players who want to participate in this event can enter
any of the portals placed in Vemarken, Naphtali, Gad's Landing, Dragon
Tooth, and Ralnoth. Turkey feathers can be traded in for minor items,
and cooked turkeys can be donated to some of the townspeople's less
fortunate.

This event should be suitable for all levels.

There are three special event quests to get, and Gandor will
periodically be running a group through the boss mob. See Gandor for
other event updates and details.

2012-11-26 Thread Phil Vlasak

Jewel,
ou got Anna with Windows 7. To get more voices that will work with Jim
Kitchen's games you could upgrade to Windows 8,
there are three new client (desktop) voices - Microsoft David (US male) and
Hazel (UK female) and Zira (US female) which sound more natural than
Microsoft Anna. Microsoft Anna is no longer included.

It costs $709 US from Amazon.
Or you can buy other individual voices from www.Nextup.com
They run from $7 to $45 per voice from several sources.

[Audyssey] More on puppet nightmares

2012-11-26 Thread dark
Hi.

I know I posted about this game recently (though I don't know if that male got
lost in the works), but now that I've gotten into the game, I'm just finding it
absolutely fascinating, indeed it's rather hard to put down! The developer is
great about access, and has fixed several issues within literally a couple of
hours, and it has a great community.

I'll admit there is a learning curve sinse it's quite unusual to get a game of
this complexity in it's battles and other systems, but for anyone who has
wanted to play a really propper rpg or have a go at a major and detailed
creature collection game with good back story like pokemon I can absolutely
recommend this.

Elemental weaknesses, a 3x3 grid with different formations giving bonuses,
every creature havng equips, item building, it's all here!

The address is http://www.puppetnightmares.com/index.php?sh=23512
(and yes that's my referal link but I wouldn't be recommending this game so
strongly if I didn't think it was good).

All the best,

Dark.

only work as a demo version for you guys to try the game, but will be a fun
