[Audyssey] Asking a game question.
For my fellow games. I’ve tried write a ticket out on the Draconis Entertainment web page with no luck. I down loaded both Alien Outback and the Tenpin Alley bowling games. I tried plugging in my user name a unlock code with no luck. It went to demo mode. I tried to uninstall then reinstall the outback game at first to see if uninstalling then reinstalling would give me the registrating page, but it just keeps counting down the days left in the demo. So, do we have to repurchase the games that we use to play to unlock them once again? I can attach e-mails to the people behind the Draconis Entertainment company to show proof of purchase. P;lust I was a beta tester on the TPA bowling game. Thanks for the help. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] Question About The Get Lamp Text Adventure Documentary
Hi Kelly. I found the extras really fascinating. It was so neat to hear the creators of the games. If I hadn't gotten my own copy for participating in the documentary, I definitely would have bought it. [Audyssey] Question About The Get Lamp Text Adventure Documentary
Hi, Back in 2010, producer Jason Scott created a two-DVD documentary about text adventure games, or Interactive Fiction if you prefer, called "Get Lamp". From what I've read, the discs consist of the main documentary (which you can also watch on Youtube), featurettes about Infocom and other subjects, longer interviews, and a DVD ROM section with various games. I've watched the main documentary on Youtube and thought it was good. I'm wondering if anyone has the DVDs as I've been considering purchasing them. If so, I'm curious as to how good the rest of the content is? If you'd like more information about this set, visit http://www.getlamp.com/. Thanks. Re: [Audyssey] Great game for Ios, Nano empire
Hi paul. The game is awesome, and has multiple endings which is cool. All the best, Dark. - Original Message - From: "Paul Lemm"To: "'Gamers Discussion list'" Sent: Tuesday, March 29, 2016 4:22 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Great game for Ios, Nano empire Thanks Dark, enjoyed the Dark room and ensign so sounds like this will be my kind of game, thanks for the update about the bug being fixed now to. Paul -Original Message- From: Gamers [mailto:gamers-boun...@audyssey.org] On Behalf Of dark Sent: Sunday, March 27, 2016 8:34 AM To: Gamers@audyssey.org Subject: [Audyssey] Great game for Ios, Nano empire Hi. This is just to let people know about a new game released for Ios, entitled Nano Empire. Enspired by A dark room, the game is a text based single player stratogy, but is extremely unique. It' set in a future where humans create nanobots that can build anything and give them nearly god like powers. The game begins with you able to build various locations, from a spaceport to a rain forest, using resources that increase over time. Each location you build gives you more resources, and also has various tasks you can do in it. Over time a campaign button shows up where you can go and battle enemies who have their own worlds, though they will also come and battle you too, then later a story mode shows up as well (I won't say anything more about this, but it's fun). The game is available in the ap store and the developer in Jsenter. For more information, and to play an online version of the game (which is apparently accessible though I've not tried it), go to www.nanoempire.net. though you can just dive streight in and start playing sinse all the instructions are contained in the game and most things are fun to discover for yourself. Note that there is currently a very nasty bug in the game if you click the fight button too quickly in battle and then lose, you wind up with negative defence value which can screw up the game and give a perminant crash that means it's necessary to redownload and restart the hole thing. Tthe developer has sent off a fix to apple, but obviously it'll take a while to clear, the bug is howeve avoidable if you don't hammer the fight button too much (when using vo battles are turn based). Enjoy, i rather like this one. all the best, Dark. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] POSSIBLE SPOILERS completed nano empire
Hi Anouk. I agree, provided you just keep doing all the activities in tandom you really can't go wrong, but I liked the setting and the text and the principle involved in the game. I liked it for an afternoons play (about 4 hours). I thought it was a bit simpler, more linear not as strategic as a dark room. Frankly i found it a bit silly even though i am a big sci-fi fan. Still it was entertaining and kept me playing for the 4 hours it otok to finish it. For a first game, not bad at all.
