[Audyssey] sonnar news
Hi all. Well more news just came in on audiogamehub as I had a meeting with sonnar today. Firstly there is a forum on audiogamehub.com where bugs can get reported. Looking for modderators. Next I have created a descussion group for sonnar called sonnargames on groups.io but its not approved just yet. Currently forum is looking for moderators. Kickstarter is due to launch on 9th november. There will be an actual news post posted to a few places soon but this is a general heads up to all gamers. I feature on the kickstarter video to so lets see where that goes. Oh, I am crashmaster on audiogamehub and audiogames.net so yes I exist. I will post more info when that comes online. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to gamers-unsubscr...@audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] memory
Well, a gaming console for the blind would put us in our own rooms with our own discriptive TV's, with our own games. If the sighted world wants to play with us all they would have to do is turn on a screen and play. We'd be able to get games like they do from a local game stop or somthing like that for at least a discount since we're not required to have pictures. However, if we could figure out a way to have whatever sounds are in the game turn into pictures for the sighted wourld so if they wantec to play they could. That would be nice. Maybe I've got some things messed up in the discription but that's a thought of mine. Besides the console itself would be a company made for freesource gaming. Maybe we could get the games for a good price and get the console for a reasonable price. Re: [Audyssey] contacting the dev was: Re: Code 7 fully voiced adventure game
Hi. the Vi features aren't in the main version simply because the main version starts speaking with Sapi as soon as you load it, (I assume it's the same with Vo on the mac). This makes it much easier than having to work out a way a blind player would need to turn on the voicing without said voicing, or annoy sighted players who wouldn't like a game speaking. all the be4st, Dark. Due to Btinternet being inconvenient, this email address will not be in use for very long. Please contact me on my other public address, d...@xgam.org. When I have a new private address, I will let everyone know. - Original Message - From: "lenron brown"To: "Gamers Discussion list" Sent: Monday, October 24, 2016 12:19 PM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] contacting the dev was: Re: Code 7 fully voiced adventure game I wonder why the vi features not rolled in to the main version. I tried downloading it as well. The macversion for visually impaired people downloads fine. I too have problems with the windows version. I have attended the devs. I wonder if using a download manager would help. For me its not a problem I use both mac and windows but I do understand most people do use windows if still using a computer at all. Btw a mobile version is not out of the question but not a priority right now and might be difficult giving the game concepts. Lori, original mail mentions this page: https://goodwolfstudio.itch.io/code-7 Mac, linux, and windows versions mentioned on that page, and seems the windows and mac versions are available in self-voicing format - but, who knows - as in, good luck with getting download to work... See https://goodwolfstudio.itch.io/code-7 You can download Accessible versions also exist for windows and mac now. the only kicker is the game has a kickstarter campaign to fund the voice acting (which you'll see is awesome), and soundtrack. find the kickstarter here: http://kck.st/2cUGMID It expires at the end of this week, but anyone who is a fan of adventure games and sf themed horror should give this a try, particularly since the developers are working very hard on access for both windows and mac, including consulting with access agencies, getting a lot of feedback and generaly being awesome, so supporting them is advisable. I'll admit that I'm not able to put any money in myself at the moment due to the hole getting married, buying visas thing earlier this year (budgit is a bit tight right now), however I'd absolutely recommend the game to anyone able to try it out, and likewise, if anyone does! want to contribute to the kickstarter, feel free.
