[Audyssey] Obtain Readme for Interactive Fiction Games, can anyone help?
Evening everyone! It's Gary Price from Bolton here. Not posted a contribution for ages I know! Anyway please could someone possibly help me out with the following request. A couple of days ago I was doing a bit of research on the Internet to check out add-ons for the free screen-reader, NVDA. During that research I managed to find a client for playing Interactive Fiction games Windows Frotz. I used to play these at school, calling them text adventures. Anyway I found a webpage with absolutely loads of them: http://www.ifarchive.org From this website I've downloaded a game, called Zenon. But the problem I've got is right at the start of the game it says: Escape from the starship Zenon please consult Readme. But all I can find on that website is the actual game file, Zenon.z5 By the way I know this because got an add-on which reads the Frotz output. I have tried to find any readme by doing a Google search, but no joy! Please if anyone can help, any responses would be appreciated! [Audyssey] Quick question regarding KitchenSinc games on Windows10.
Evening everyone! I'm now on Windows10. I love it! Upgraded from 8.1 Just a quick question regarding Jim Kitchen's games. I can get them to run fine, but when I exit them I'm getting a strange error message. Error 53: File not found. OK button. [Audyssey] Sad news regarding Jim Kitchen.
Hello everyone. Not contributed for a while I know. Its Gary Price from Bolton here. Aw what a shame regarding Jim Kitchen. I didn't know him personally, but got in touch by E-mail with suggestions for his games. To be honest I'm glad someone is doing a mega installer, because I didn't even know he had released new ones! Will definitely grab this when its available. I've got all his old ones like Battleship, golf, WinSpank and Winpup3 plus a few others. [Audyssey] Problem with Self Destruct, can anyone help?
Hello everyone on this list. I've recently been exploring Damien Pendleton's webpage out of interest. Under the games part I've found a cool game, Self Destruct. Its where you've got to escape a room on a grid, but you've got a bomb which goes off when you have 0 moves. But can I ask, does this game not work under Windows7 properly? The Keygen used to register will not work, I keep getting an error message saying something like the product ID doesn't exist. Then when I try to run the game I get a message saying that a certain component is not correctly registered or a file is invalid. Has anyone got this game to work? Thanks! [Audyssey] Tips for Papa Sangre version2 please.
Hello everyone. Please if anyone has this game Papa Sangre version2 on their iPhone or iPod, can anyone give me any tips for getting past level6, are you been preserved? [Audyssey] Change Reaction2 and Silver Dollar from Draconis Entertainment.
Hello everyone, this is Gary Price here. Please can anyone try and install if they have these: Change Reaction version2 and Silver Dollar from Draconis Entertainment on Windows8.1? You should receive the following message, which is what I'm getting: Change Reaction Setup requires Microsoft .net Framework2.0 client Profile. Please use Windows Update to get this version, then re-run the Change reaction setup program. OK button. Now thanks to a standalone installer I downloaded for .net framework, I found out that its already built into Windows8.1 If anyone else can duplicate, can you report it?
