Hi charles,

i think you've knocked it on the head there, he sounds like i'd imagine him
exactly to be too.
i think they picked a really good actor for his part.
Another one is rupert grinte, who plays ron. i like his portrayal too.

The best actor for the part throughout the whole series of movies thusfar,
at least as far as their voice and inflection is concerned, to me, is the
guy that portrays Severus Snape. He sounds exactly as I figured that
 Snape
 would.

 Hi Charles,
I own the first three movies on dvd, and have seen them. In both cases I
think the changes were warrented and funny.
I love wen Aunt Marge began blowing up like a baloon and then floated
away out the window yelling all the way. I laughed my butt off.
It's those bits of humor that gives Harry Potter the right mix of
action, old world fantacy, humor, and imagination for children.

Finally, the wait is over. You can download the demo of LWork's newest
game Judgment day. Visit www.l-works.net/judgmentday.php to read more
about the game and to purchase it.

It is the year 2015 and the world is at war. Two powers are fighting for
control: the Allies and a group of nations calling themselves the Supreme
 Evil.
Little is known about The Supreme Evil and its motives but one thing is
 clear:
this group has advanced weaponry. Over several months, the Allies have
 been
slowly destroyed by The Supreme Evil. Supreme Commander Ather, commander
 of the
Supreme Evil, has quickly dispatched several countries in the span of a
 few
months. In one last effort to retain any hope, the Allies have gathered
 all
their forces in one area. A defensive station was built and plans were
 made to
finally lay the Supreme Evil to rest; however, this task may prove to be
 harder
than one thinks. This is where you come in. Your job is to fend off the
 Supreme
 Evil and Supreme Commander Ather.

You command the only Allied defensive post left. Compared to the Supreme
 Evil,
your weapons are primitive; however, they can be effective. You are given
 a
machine gun with unlimited shells, a supply of rockets, and a small supply
 of
sky-clearing nukes. Your crew will do their best to keep the base
 undamaged. If
there's no damage, they may even find time to replenish your nukes and
 rockets.

If you do buy this game you will find it money well spent. The game has
excellent replayability. Those of us who were on the Beta team worked hard
to make sure we could provide you the best product possible. If you don't
buy any other gifts this Christmas Please pick this game up. I will be
writing the official review for Audyssey and perhaps I will do an audio

 Hi gamers:

This is a quick update to say that everything is still in working order.
We recently had a sun pump failure which caused a build up of water in the
room where I have all the equipment I use to produce games and audio.
Thankfully, everything has been saved. The release date for Judgment day
is December 12. If you have any questions between now and then, please
let me know. Thanks to those who sent me words of encouragement. Floods
can be very costly, and I consider myself extremely lucky.

 hi all.

I am curious if anyone has found any of the playstation 2 games even
remotely playable. I may have access to a machine and want to know if
it is even worth my bother to try using it. if it's a waste of time and
effort I'd rather just pass it up.

 Thanks for any info.

all in play charges a subscription fee because it helps raise funds to hold

 2. why jim kitchen doesn't put his poker program in to slot machines all

 hi Kay,
the place to download Pacman talks was http://www.pcsgames.net
I have had to take it down temporarily because I need the space for
 uploading the full Sarah game.
I will be sending Sarah to my beta testers very soon.
It takes me quite a while to upload a game and I'd rather not tie up my
computer for several hours until I can determine if I have enough space
 for
 both.
 sincerely,
 Phil

 Hi folks,

have been wondering how you all deal with a bar brawl in the extreme wild
 west table of pinball extreme.
Sometimes, i get quite a number of the punches in, then miss at the last
 minute.
i can tell left to right from my speakers, but, i just don't know how
 much
time i have to find the right place before i don't know, the time runs
 out
 etc.
i found the way much easier in pinball classic, just, holding down both
 of
the shift keys, don't know why they had to change it for this game.
Someone suggested headphones, wondered if that was another popular way.

 Hi Guys,
I was wondering if there was a game / tutorial that taught how to play
music, like the piano for instance. I have this program called talking
typing teacher which happened to have some musical mini games and the
thought came to me that it would be interesting if there was something
similar for beginners or children to learn the keys of the piano. Perhaps
thru musical games a person could manage to play simple songs etc and so
forth. Does anyone know about anything that might fit the bill that might
also be accesible? Actually, I am not sure how it would be implemented but
 it seemed interesting to me.
 thanks

 Hi,

I have put a new file up on my web site. It is Monopoly version 7.
File name winpoly7.exe file size 643k.

You will find it on my free windows sapi5 text to speech games page.

In version 7 I fixed many bugs, such as the auction option in a
 resumed
game, the recognition of a monopoly after an auction, there are no
 more
houses on the railroads or utilities when selling houses etc.
I also added features such as the f2 key will toggle the playing of
 music
while your piece is moving, the f3 key will toggle the speaking of a
property color during buying and selling houses, mortgaging and un
 mortgaging properties, checking assets etc.
Also the tilde key will now adjust the rate of the speech rather than
 the
 control key.

Hi Everyone I have been asked to post this letter. I hope it will
 enable you to help.

 Marlaina
I have been asked to send this message. I hope it wil ve very helpful
 to
 you.

 Hello everyone.

Can you imagine drama and deception being caused by the co-founders of All
InPlay? Well, if you can't, just read below.

It all started in January of 2005 when Paul came to the tgreeter team
 leader, Cotton
Blossom, and told her about Jojo, whom he said was an ordinary college
intern. Since that time, All InPlay has not communicated decently with CB
or the rest of the greeter team, and the many opportunities that we gave
 to
Paul to tell us *HONESTLY* who Jojo was were shot down.
Also, CB wrote many emails to Paul encouraging him to communicate openly
with her, but he never did.

On June 19, 2006, the greeters wrote to Paul about having a recognition
ceremony for CB. In his response on June 20, he said, It is so sweet
 that
you and the others wish to throw a party for CB! At
the moment I have my hands very full with Holdem so can't think much
 about plans.

As for JoJo Bot - CB gets far more recognition than Aaron, the leader of
our other volunteer team (the testers), yet none of the testers complain
that Aaron does not have a bot yet Michael (our new programmer) does.
That is because they understand they are volunteers and Michael is a
part of our team. _no one_ has any issues.

I have given CB _far_ more recognition than any other volunteer -
including Aaron. Yet it never seems to be enough.

You, VV, CB, and the others are volunteers. And like our other
volunteers, get thanked publicly and fairly often. Really? I've never
heard or seen him thank her in public. He seemed unwilling to even give
 it
 a thought.

In July, at the ACB convention, CB and I went by the All InPlay booth so
that CB could ask Paul if they could talk. She asked for five minutes,
at some point in the week. They talked that day, but not even for the
whole five minutes, because when Paul was called to a meeting, he just
brushed CB aside and went on his merry way. He did not even approach CB
again for another meeting. One of my friends, who was not yet a community
member, came by the All InPlay booth and she said that she was there for
about 45-50 minutes, and for most of those minutes, someone named
 Melaney
was there and Paul and she had their heads together in deep conversation.
That same friend said that Paul promptly introduced Jojo as his fiance.
 He
can tell a total stranger, but not his own community? Sounds strange to
 me!

Another thing that Paul has done is to take down the volunteer greeter
 page
and take CB's contact info out of the welcome letters without her
 knowledge.
I have documentation to support this fact if anyone wants it. On August
 8,
2006, some of the greeters, including myself, tried to call Paul to get
 some
answers to our questions, so we asked our questions to Jeremie and he
forwarded them to Paul. When Paul responded on August 9, he did not
 answer
them properly and seemed to think that it was not important to answer
 them.
When I told him that he did not answer our questions satisfactorily, he
 said
in an email to me on August 10, 2006, If you trust us so little, do not
 work with us.

And the last straw happened last night at 9:30, when CB logged into her
GreeterLeader email. She found to her dismay that her position had been
taken. Back in October, when CB told him about a job she had gotten, he
reassured her that he would not take the position without first talking
 with
her by phone about it. Well, he didn't. Not only did he take the
 position,
but he took her complimentary membership as well, and shortchanged her by
 at
least 102 days that she should have had on her account.

Can you imagine drama and deception being caused by the co-founders of All
InPlay? After reading this letter, you may have responded differently
 than
before. If you have been helped by CB or any of us greeters, or you have
worked with CB under her leadership, it may be helpful to her if you rote
 to
Paul and made your voices heard! Thank you.

A blast of summer all year round!

Press enter on that link and then arrow to the Lord of the Rings Tactics

Well, allow me to start with the basics. The menus are pretty easy to
function, though it can get a little complicated if you're selecting a
high-profile match type. Creating your superstar isn't really accessible,
though, which is why I'm glad to have a girlfriend. Haha. As far as
 gameplay
goes, you really couldn't ask for a simpler yet more powerful system. The
triangle button is your run button, and pressing it without adding a
direction on the D-pad will make you run directly at your opponent.
Convenient, ain't it? Grapples are even easier. Simply press circle and a
directional button to initiate one of four grapple types. There are seven
total grapple types in the game, but every superstar has only four out of
those seven. Makes them all different, you see. Also, a little sound
 plays
when you get your special! Hurray for unneccessary but convenient noises!
Using your special is as simple as knowing the situation your opponent
 needs
to be in, then pressing the L button if you're playing the PSP version,
 or
the L1 button on the PS2.
As for the season mode, well, it happens to have superstar voiceovers,
 which
means cutscenes we can actually understand. Starting a season is easy,
 and
 continuing one is even easier.
One last thing I should note is that the PSP version has no commentary
during matches. However, though commentary is convenient, it isn't
 essential
to play the game. I've done just fine without it. I will actually be
 doing
 a
game demonstration of the PSP version soon, and I plan to put it on my
 web
site in a new section I'm creating revolving around accessible gaming.
 Look
 forward to that.

 Hi, Brandon.
So how accessible is WWE? How do you play it accessibly, and do you need
any help playing. I am almost interested enough to buy, but want more
 info.

 Brandon Cole wrote:
Well, the games I have are:
 Street Fighter Alfa 3 Max
 WWE Smackdown Vs. Raw 2006
 Lord of the Rings: Tactics
 Marvel: Nemysis
 Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
 Fight Night Round 3
 Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play
and I'm about to get Tekken.
The only one of those you could consider unplayable if you felt like it
 is
the GTA game, but I got it for one real reason. The GTA series has
 always
been one of my favorite series to mess around in. It's fun just to
 steel
cars, drive around and hit things, get all the weapons via a cheat,
 make
tanks fall from the sky, ya know. That sort of thing. Haha. Hope this
 helps.

Hi,

thanks so much for this list.
do most games work with jaws?
There's another one too and the address is www.hogwartslive.com
You become a hogwarts student and have to fight creatures in the forrest.
there's also the places too, like diagon alley, where you can buy weapons
etc.
Once you have enough experience, you go to hogwarts and fight a professor to
move up to the next level.
i use the game and love it.

 Hello Everyone,

Here is a cool list of online text-based games:

 - Anacreon (
 http://www.the-underdogs.org/game.php?id=55):
Anacreon: Reconstruction is, without a doubt, one of --if not THE-- best
strategy games ever made. It was released in the 1988 and bombed, mostly
 due to
its high price and ASCII graphics. It is a 1 to 8 player game in which you
build and manage an intergalatic empire. You can build armies, starbases,
 turn
entire planets into chemical plants or shipyards, terrorize and mine trade
routes, build stargates, launch long-range cruise missles, decide whether
 a
planet should be isolated or requiring constant supplies from outside (if
you should addict your loyal subjects to labor-improving drugs), and much,
 much
 more.

 - Arenascape
 http://www.arenascape.net/login.php:
 Text based MMORPG.

 - Bootleggers (
 www.bootleggers.us):

 - B.O.T.S.
 http://blue.bots2.net/index.php:

just have to look and click on links, there's no spelling involved in that
one.

 Hello, Jim.
In my experience with text based game play you have to have to be good
enough at spelling to do the basic commands. For example, in a wizard
game you might have to do
 cast fire spell
which would cast a fire spell at an enemy.
There are other types of commands like, look which gives you a
description of the dungeon, room, spaceship, etc you are at.
Anyway, depending how good you are typing and spelling it might not be
the best style of game play for you.

Hi,

i have a language master. it's a hand held gadget, which talks and is
basically a dictionary, but has games on it too.
It can prove a lot of help with young people that are learning and provide
hours of fun with the games. there's hang man and a game called word train,
where you pick a letter and the computer picks one, and eventually you make
up a word.
it's fairly expensive, but very useful. it has a querty keyboard, to make
typing easier.

 Hi.
Well, I noticed I had an old handheld game laying around the house,
don't know the name of it, but it is fully accessible. Basicly, it asks
you math questions like 5+5 and you enter the number in on a keypad much
like a calculator. As you got better the math problems got harder. Was a
cool game and as the problems got harder you were given less time to
solve the problem kind of a cool game.

 Hi all,
These days I am always iether giving computer programs, i.e games or
applications, or CD's as presents to other blind friends, and am getting
them in return. My brother gets all these cool things like an Atari,
electronic hand-held Sudoku, or these other hand-held games. This year I
really want to find different ideas. Are their any accessible electronic
games out their, or a game which can be accessible? I remember with the
tamagochi craze, their were some of them that were actually quite
 accessible
because of the many sounds, it was just a case of you remembering the
menues, and the interface was simple. what Another example is, one year,
 my
parents found this cool, fully-accessible talking battleship electronic
game, which you can play against people and against the built-in computer,
and sighted people even enjoyed it, since it was so hi-tech, had flashing
lights and made many sounds, especially explosions! Even when their
 weren't
people to play against, I loved carrying it around and having games
 against
the computer. I found a thing on maxi aids, which said it was a Talking
Chess Computer, but when I emailed, they said it wasn't really accessible
for totally blind players. My friend also tried one, but she couldn't use
 it
since the computer's move only flashed on the display and was not spoken.
 I
also love fun puzzels and gadgets that do interesting things, and can keep
 a
person either busy or entertained, but can anyone recommend something that
they enjoy doing, and that can be bought from Amazon or somewhere online?
 Of
course you get traditional bord games, which are made accessible for blind
people, but that's not so cool since you can't play against a computer
 when
noone's their. I also heard of a talking, electronic Bop It, which is
supposed to be fun, but has anybody tried this, and where could I buy it?

 Greetings,

Just a few reminders, notes, and so forth.

Please remember, before contacting us, to check the FAQ on our web
site at http://www.dracoent.com/faq/ to see if your question is
already answered there. Also, you should check the Draconis Online
Community for answers to many questions, to post suggestions for
future titles, to chat about games in general, or to get technical
support. The Customer Service and Support e-mail is meant more for
issues of a non-technical nature. In the Tech Support Center of the
online Community, there are separate areas for each of our
titles. And, in the Community's Chat area, there's a place for
gamers to discuss anything at all, as well.

We've also posted two new additions to the Cinema Citadel column, so
 check that out as well.

We're very pleased with the overwhelmingly positive response to the
Pinball Party Pack, Volume 1. Thank you all, and we hope to continue
to enjoy it for many years to come.

We are currently well into development on our next title, which we
think will come as quite a nice surprise to you all. It is unlike
 anything we've released to date.

 Thanks for your support.

 Sincerely,
 Draconis Staff

Very pleased you're enjoying the tables. Old Man Stanley's House

Montezuma’s Revenge

Good news gamers! We would like to announce the immediate availability
of Montezuma’s

engine designed from the ground up by USA Games Entertainment. For those
of you who
have tried the version previously owned by Alchemy Game Studios you will
find the
USA Games Montezuma’s Revenge game engine has far superior improvements,
changes,
and updates.
New in Alpha 1 all sound effects have been upgraded to the highest
quality sound
and music our sound engineers and developers could find. Enemies such as
snakes now
move and attempt to attack you rather than remaining stationary. Spiders
now have
a poison bite which requires a healing potion to cure. This version has
it’s very
own unique character, Angela Smith, which replaces other Montezuma’s
Revenge characters.
Other changes include support for Microsoft’s DirectX 9.0C libraries,
and the Microsoft
.NET Framework 1.4.3.22. As with our other titles Montezuma’s Revenge
uses the highest
quality of self-voicing speech system using Neospeech Kate.
If you would like more information about Montezuma's Revenge click here

Note, I am still awaiting on extra download mirrors so if the download

 Hi, Jason.
If you land on a monster it spells instant death. So if you are going to
jump over a monster you have to time it just right so you clear the
 monster.
Let's assume you are going to jump over the snake. I would walk right a
few steps, and as soon as the snake gets pretty close I would hold down
the space and right arrow key which would jump to the right. You'll have
to train your ear for about how close they can be before you must jump.
 Practice makes perfect.

 Hi, Jason.
If you land on a monster it spells instant death. So if you are going
 to
jump over a monster you have to time it just right so you clear the
 monster.
Let's assume you are going to jump over the snake. I would walk right
 a
few steps, and as soon as the snake gets pretty close I would hold
 down
the space and right arrow key which would jump to the right. You'll
 have
to train your ear for about how close they can be before you must
 jump.
 Practice makes perfect.
 Smile.

 Hi, Kay.
Sounds like a damaged download. Your setup file should be 43.3 MB. If it
isn't that size and then your Montezuma-Alpha1.exe file is certainly
damaged. It sounds like it from here.

 Hi, Kay.
Well, this is kind of a sequal of sorts. In the early 1980's there was a
game called Montezuma's Revenge which was highly popular on the Atari
Entertainment System. Well, my version takes place about 22 years later,
and has it's own unique character.
If you want to know what it is all about go to:
 http://www.usagames.us
and click on the products link on the left. When you do the right frame
will give a list of products. Click on Montezuma's Revenge link and you
will get a description of the game.

2006-06-22 Thread Kay Scrimshaw
Hi ari,

i live in the uk, so don't know if this will be of help, but i have
certainly found a cube like this at the r n i b, royal national institute
for the blind.
I went to their shop in judd street london and felt one.
If you go to www.rnib.org.uk, there's an online shop there, you can look
there for a magic cube.
Also, if you live stateside, the c n i b may have one too.
I've never heard of the board game you're on about, but i hope this
information on the cube helped you.

 Hi all,
In the 1980's, their was this thing called a Magic Cube. I'm not exactly
sure how it works, but it's a cube with different coloured mini cubes, and
you had to try and rotate the cubes to get all the colours lined up. I
 went
to the National Council once and saw that they actually had a version for
blind people, obviously using different textured cubes rather than
 coloured
ones. My problem was that it sold out before I bought one. Since this was
quite long ago and the person who was in charge of bringing such stock in
has left, and the new person doesn't really know, does anyone know where
such cubes can be bought from, and if they're actually still made? (I
 think
it was iether from the US or Canada.)
Also, their was a craze for this strategy board game called Risk. I've
 never
played it, but I hear it's fun. Is their a version available for blind
people, and could some developer think of making a computer games version?
 Ari

I will buy it from the RNIB, although I'm not sure if I'd have to call,
since I heard that people in South Africa can't use the online shop, it is
only for UK residents. One day I'd love to come to England and look at the
RNIB shop, I'm sure it must be brilliant having all those different types
 of
products. They used to get a lot of RNIB products here like Cludo, but the
exchange rate with the pound, plus the RNIB export price has made it
 cheaper
for the National Council here to import from America, or to only get RNIB
 products on special request orders.
