There is no setup file. Actually, based on the error message it looks like you're trying to run the game from within the zip. Extract the zip into a folder and you should be all set. There is no need to actually install castaways, but it must be extracted first so that the game can find all of its files. Hi yes, I have managed to get the game to run, but when I put in my character name and press enter it just keeps saying my character name and telling me to press enter to change it. Once you have entered your name and pressed enter, use the arrow keys to move down the menu farther. I am guessing that you are pressing enter again, so it is bringing back up the name request.
