[Audyssey] Eamon games.

2006-10-02 Thread MissWings
I was looking forward to the Eamon games myself. I remember when I was
younger one of my friends had a bunch of them, but she lived too far away
from me to go over to her house much. I think I only visited her a few
times but every time I was there I looked forward to playing those
games. I only managed to play a couple of them and I can't even remember
which ones they were now. There was the beginning adventure on the master
disk and one other one, but that was my extent with the Eamon experience.

Here's the history in a nut shell: Not only did James North work for ESP
Softworks, but he! was! ESP Softworks. He sold his games to Adora
Entertainment, where Josh de Lioncourt was employed. Now, those games are
 owned by, and found at

 www.draconisentertainment.com

where Josh is continuing game development.

 I
seem to remember his voice came up a lot in their games on the main
 menus
   and things.

As far as I know, James is still working on a game development system
 and
  is
going to have Max completed which will act as a demonstration of what
 this
development system can do. Of course, that news is fairly old now. Given
  the
grief he's taken for being so public about things, I wouldn't be
 surprised
if he hasn't updated his web site. We likely won't hear a thing from him
until Max or this system is completely ready. There's also a ton of
 other
responsibilities and things happening in his life. The whole fiasco has
doubtless almost completely destroyed his motivation for producing
accessible games. Progress will therefore likely be quite slow.
