Re: [Audyssey] Game stories for Audyssey mag.

2006-05-30 Thread Richard Bennett
ok, I will start to write on it. When is the last possible day someone could
turn something in and still get it published in the mag? I have come up with
another idea I think I am going to write out the story line to one of my
games and put it in there if that is ok with you.

Hi, Ron.
Any chanse you can extend until Friday this week? I'm working on a game
review, but now that the real weak has started again I won't have allot
of time to work on the review. If not I'll just have to submit it next
issue.

 Hi.
Ron sends out the mag to the list each time an issue is released. I'm
not sure but this time it might be posted on the web for immediate
download this issue, but the new delivery details haven't been discussed
that much yet. Either way it should show up here as well. Smile.

Well the best I could say is write it up and let me take a look at it. But
off the top it might fit in well as format for the magazine.

Hey Ron, I was going to do a write up, but didn't really know something to
write up about. I am thinking of creating a small game development company,
but at least want to get a few games developed before I do all of that. I am
creating a game for my game programming class that I could write about how
it has come along and stuff like that, but I don't think that is what you
want.
Anyways,

HI,
why not write your stories as a new episode of Adam the immortal gamer?
Considering how many episodes have been written through the years, he really
seems immortal or at least pretty tough and famous. :-)
Would be quite interesting to read in my opinion. In fact, I even wanted to
write an episode before and might still do so sometimes, so why couldn't a
new and fresh developer sort of advertise his own upcoming works this way?
:-)
Best wishes,

 Hi, Ron and all.
I've been thinking of including some phictional stories based on
Montezuma's Revenge and Star Wars Jedi Strike, but am wondering if it is
ok to send in stories about a game. I'm sure you probably won't have any
issues with Monty, but with all the copyrights surrounding Star Wars I
am not as sure if I should send that one along as well. What do you guys
 think?

2006-05-28 Thread shaun everiss
actually I miss the series on that.
in loads of the issues some entertaining comic strip like this has
not appeared for ages.
We had it on lw for dos and a load of if games and I think we had one
vertual reality type.
Then there is the game rescue unit, also on if stuff but that never
got off the ground.
Then in an early issue of the mag there was a talk of something
called a gamestation made by pcs and I havn't heard much about that.

Hi Tom

I can't say for sure without seeing it first but over time there have been
some DD stories included in the magazine. Not to mention in particular
[and looking forward to a return] the immortal gamer himself.
I'd say send them along and we can take it from there. It would be kind
of nifty to have a peak at Angela's view or perhaps her experiences through
the temples. Let's try it!

Ok, I'll do that as soon as I finish them up. By the way I sent out a

finish the fun stuff.
Oh, and I have a unfinished game review I want to submit this month as
well.
