 Hi,

If anyone wants the walk through for Leather Goddesses of Phobos, I have
it handy as a text file. I also have just the walk through of the maze in
a separate file. That was the only part that I really needed it for.

Re: [Audyssey] Leather Goddesses of Phobos

2008-01-11 Thread Tom Randall
Hey Raul and all.

Hard to say, this is a real ancient ms-dos version that I have floating
around here someplace so not sure if there is a later one where they
took that out or not. Basically it was an attempt to make sure that you
had bought the original package because the game itself was not copy
protected. In the days before the web and all that this kind of thing
was actually fairly effective sure you could copy the game all you
wanted but unless you had access to the hard copy of the map you could
not finish it.

Hi. I'm not sure if I had a later compile of the game or not, but I did
not need the printed map to complete the game. Just thought I'd share.

 Hi AC and all.

I know at one time you could get a whole bunch of the old Infocom
games including Leather on cd for pretty cheap, but have no idea if
 this is available anymore.

As for Leather Goddesses, well the basic premis is you are running
around a Mars sort of like that depicted in the old Edgar Rice Burrows

stories if you've ever read any of those trying to stop the iminent
invasion of earth by the leather goddesses of phobos. It's a heck of
a lot of fun if you like the old text adventure type games like zork,
I played that sucker for a couple of years I remember. One thing I
will tell you though, if you do not have or cannot read the map that
came with the original game then you will not be able to finish it
without basically having somebody tell you how. Fortunately I have
the directions on file somewhere or other. As for playing it on a
newer interpreter, well it is basically the same as the old zork games

so if you can play those you could probably play Leather, but I have
not tried it so could not say for sure.

[Audyssey] Leather Goddesses

2007-06-27 Thread Kathy Seven Williams
Hello, K7 here. I'm new on the list and relatively new to gaming. I started
Leather Goddesses back in Dos Days, but never finished the game.Seems I'm stuck
in the swamp surrounded by man eating plants if memory serves which it hasn't
for years. Anyhow, I really want to play it on my Pacmate. I've got ZipCe and
can open the game and get past the disclaimers to where it says to hit ENTER to
begin the game, and I can't , for the life of me, find a way to Hit Enter
since hitting Enter doesn't do the trick. I've got several 5Z games I really
would like to play if I can find a way to get them to work on the Pacmate. Any
help?

And as long as I took sword in hand to tap out a message, I was trying to get
onto discworld.atuin.net which is the discworld (Terry Pratchet) Moo. I can log
on, but the telnet client I have for the pacmate only sees the first part of
each line and I hate to make a half-hearted go of it. The telnet clients I
have on the PC aren't much better with JAWS. Navigation back and forth, to pick
up name spelling and so on is just really hard if not impossible.Again, any
help?

Thanks much!
K7

Hi Kathy.

As mud client I'll recommend Mush Client. You can get it from the following
link:
http://www.gammon.com.au/files/mushclient/mushclient402.exe
You can also get from Jaws scripts to the program, but I can't remember
where to get them. But I can send them to you if you want them.
This client is only for Windows and Linux. I don't know any clients wich
works on PDA's and Packmate.

Best regards Søren.
