Re: [Audyssey] Sarah Inaccessible door.
Hi Tom, I did add some doors for atmosphere but if hitting x near them they will say that nothing can unlock them. You must get within 5 feet for the spell or knife to work. Please give me the coordinates of the door to check it out. Hi all, Earlier today while playing I noticed there appeared to be a door on the ground floor that does absolutely nothing. I've tried jimmying it with the pen knife, doing aloha mora on it, tried every password and no show. All Sarah does is say, come on and open would you? What am I doing wrong or is this door just for show? Re: [Audyssey] Sarah Inaccessible door.
Hey. Check it with x next time you find it. There are several fake doors where she'll say there is no spell or password that can open this door or something similar. I suspect this'll be one of those much-hated me too posts by now. Re: [Audyssey] Sarah Inaccessible Door
Hi Tom, I found the mystery door and this was something I was planning on adding, but forgot about. That is why it has no snore sound nor can be opened. I will either turn it into a room or remove it. thanks, Phil - Original Message - From: Thomas Ward [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: Gamers Discussion list gamers@audyssey.org Sent: Friday, November 30, 2007 9:01 AM Subject: Re: [Audyssey] Sarah Inaccessible Door Hi Sky and all, I've got the specific info you wanted about this door I can't open. It is on the ground flor and is located at coordinates 21 8. It is directly across the hall from an enchanted window.. I think this is a fake door, because I can't gather any more information about it, and there doesn't seam to be anyway to open it. As for secret passages I believe I have discovered all those, but I could be wrong. I know there is a secret passage that leads down into the kitchen from the ground floor as well as the door behind the picture in the basement. I also know about the statue that is a shortcut up to the first floor as well as the first floor door that leads you up the marble staircase. One of the secret passages I tried seamed to lead nowhere so I didn't use it again. To keep from utterly spoiling it for new gamers I will stop here, but the point is I have been experimenting with everything, scouting out the levels, trying to get a general idea of the layout of the castle. --- Gamers mailing list __ Gamers@audyssey.org If you want to leave the list, send E-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can make changes or update your subscription via the web, at http://audyssey.org/mailman/listinfo/gamers_audyssey.org. Re: [Audyssey] Sarah Inaccessible door.
Hi Sky, I'm about to go to bed, but I will write in in the morning with some more details. I realise I must have been pretty vague, because no one seams to know what door I am talking about. Either it is a secret passage, or the door is a bug. However, one detail I can give is when you use the shift-d command all Sarah says is door. It is not described, and it has no specific name. Re: [Audyssey] Sarah Inaccessible door.
Hi Karl, I believe it was down the coridor near the windows. I'd have to go back in and play chapter 1 again and get exact coordinates for it. Funny thing was it only shows up on the list of objects, but it doesn't make a sound or identify itself on the object announcement. I detected it so I figured others had seen this as well.As a result I didn't take down note of where this was very well.
