Hi daran
I t is so confusing of the directions
for the direction use the compass to make a compass combine 1 metal
with a leave and fill a dipped bowl with pot and then add a dipped
bowl.
Then your compass will be ready to use.
For the character please tell me whether your cliant is crashing or
other problems occurs
If you carefully looked at the game's menu you will find an option
named setup account
use that and type your char's name and password and log in

But in the guide the map's discriptions not available.
So I am interested that how the village looks like I was looking a
podcast but the podcast is not up to date.

Just remember, the new survife the wild has sickness build into the game.
so be careful with that. the water also have viruses when you drink. for
information about these changes, read the changes.txt that is already
included with the game.

try getting your thirst and hunger down to 0 or 1. get lots of water oh 
to get your hunger down you will have to fish for fish or look for and 
get berries.

well it is an open world game where your goal is just to survive. you 
can cut down trees, make fires, make bows and arrows and shoot at people 
others players. you can make pots out of clay and drink water and just 
explore around the maps or even make a boat and paddle and cross the 
ocean to the city. you can also make a fishing pole and lore and fish 
and cook the fish and eat them after you prepare the fish of course. you 
can fish in the ocean or in the streams. you can climb trees, sleep in 
trees or on the ground, dive under water in the swamp and things. get 
water bottles from the fishing village to carry more water. you can go 
to the abandoned campsight get metal from the fence and combine it with 
other stuff to make a compass. and lots more. its like audio minecraft. 
its still in development and is frequently updated. it is a server based 
game all maps are on the server there are usually 20 to 50 or 100 
players on at a time. you can chat with other players in or out of 
character. more areas are always being made more game updates with more 
and more sounds and stuff.

There is a forum page and there are walk throughs. I did a google search on
the game and was easy to find.


The things which are ahrd is to know what the food and such levels are good.
Also I have not found a page or such which tells all the things you could
make. It is a fun game but a little frustrating as you first learn.

survive the wild is a crafting and survival game. there's a map with 
woods, mountain, stream, swamp mud, clay, ocean, abandoned city and 
more. you can make pots by combining two clay. hit i to open your 
inventory c to see how much clay you have. then lets say you have two 
clay you hit right arrow for your right hand then left arrow for your 
left hand to put clay in each hand. escape to exit the inventory and T 
to use both hands together to combine it into a pot. clay is west of the 
stream. then say you want to drink water first I'd get 100 clay and make 
50 pots that will let you get a lot of water from the stream.
so then you have your 50 or so pots so then you go over to the stream 
hit i for intentory p for pot right arrow for right hand. or left arrow 
for left hand remember the hand you chose. escape close inventory. 1 and 
2 select your individual hands shift 1 and two for left and right fists. 
in this case you want hands your right hand or whatever hand you chose 
to put the pot in. so now you are standing in the stream hit spacebar to 
collect water. keep hitting it until it says too much water you are 
forced to drop some. now hit left arrow hold it in to auto-walk exit the 
stream now remember you still are carrying a pot and now if you hit 
space you will drink the water. hit s to see how much your thirst is. so 
that is the basic idea of the game. you can make bows and arrows rock 
guns fires, go fishing after you craft fishing poles, lores, string out 
of grass, and then you can make fires after cutting down trees and 
getting lots of wood you need fires to keep warm and to cook the fish 
you catch and prepare with your knife.

also i can't wait to see how this game develops. its like a realtime 
crafting mud but not a text mud a realtime rpg online game sort of but 
like mineCrft. can't wait to see how it develops. would love to have 
caves in the mountain to get metal and craft swords. maybe combine it 
with diamond to make a super hard sword or other tools. a volcano area 
to get and use volcanic rock and lava and climb the erupting volcano for 
fun. and a snow area to get and make stuff from snow and ice.

hi

also dennis the maker of alter aeon, if you are on this list please tell 
the people on the alter aeon server that survive the wild is also a fun 
game. now to my question. I made 40 pots. how do i make a fishing pole 
and lore for fishing? also it would be cool if there were caves under 
the mountain, with lava in some of their rooms, a dangerous volcanic 
area to explore and gather and craft things from, caves for mining 
metals and such, a cold snowy icey area to gather and make stuff with 
snow and ice. also wild animals to hunt. and since this game is based 
off the consequences of a nuclear war maybe zombies and cave monsters to 
fight. and maybe in the fishing village A-I villagers you could recruit 
to help you on longer missions. wild animals that hunt you and can be 
hunted also. survive the wild is great! I love the beach, oceans, caves, 
forests, mountains, volcanic and snowy areas. Also maybe in the future 
we could build houses and so many houses makes a village and we could 
put dirt down and make gardens and plant food or have the A-I villagers 
or online friends help out. its survive the wild so that stuff is part 
of survival. this game is great i wish i could donate to it!

Yes, it is.  The game is really good although navigating around can be a bit 
of a pain sometimes with no audio feedback, so trying to find small things 
like the stream or clay can be quite tricky, and can cause you to die pretty 
fast without water and before you even find any.

Survive the wild will work on all versions of windows. the idea basically is 
to wander around in a wilderness setting, make weapons and tools and other 
items out of resources and generally survive.


There is a pretty good audio walkthru of the game that you can find links to

As far as I understand generally, there is audio feedback for what items are 
immediately around you, as well as various streight up object scans that 
tell you what is waht, however things like discovering the location of where 
the river is on the map are not given in audio and you just eneed to check 
the documentation.

Yes, it is.  The game is really good although navigating around can be a 
bit of a pain sometimes with no audio feedback, so trying to find small 
things like the stream or clay can be quite tricky, and can cause you to 
die pretty fast without water and before you even find any.
