[Audyssey] huge huge frustration with the x1 battle
HI all I enjoy super liam, it's a cool game. Its just the final act that frustrates me. My left arrow key does not work when trhying to jump left. I can successfully jump with the right arrow key but when I press up arrow and I tap the left arrow multiple times, super liam falls down a hole. And I am sure that the left arrow key on my keyboard is working because I was able to use it throughout the whole game, and I can also use my left arrow key successfully when doing anything else on my pc such as navigating in a document. I made sure I am on the second metal step before I jump. I've tried the x1 battle for hours, but now I need help please. I don't know what your problem could be then since you're probably the only one who has this problem. And you don't necessarily have to be on the second metal step before you jump. That second metal step is probably just an added precaution so you hopefully don't just walk off the edge. You have acquired the skill of Weaponry Theremin. If your left arrow worked in the bits of the game that required moving left, such as shooting enemies who sneak up behind (like the bears in the forest), and getting the two extra lives in the Silver spaceship stage, then I really don't understand the problem sinse jumping left is just the same as jumping right, - press up arrow, then rapidly hit left arrow. Personally, while I loved the sfx and taunts, I found the X1 battle a trifle too easy, especially compared to lethal lab act II (now that one did! take me hours). I personally think in addition to the tracking cieling laser, X1 should've added more attacks as the battle progressed, such as shooting some fireballs at you as in Lava lake, or maybe somming summoning some of his robotic minions for you to shoot through, but ah well, it was stil cool! beware the grue!
