Re: [Audyssey] jim's black jack game

Hi Nicol,
No. Think of this as if you were playing with a human player. If you are
sitting at a table playing Black Jack the person who is dealing doesn't
know what cards you are holding. Sure they can see the cards that are
face up, but your face down cards are face down to keep the dealer from
knowing your entire hand. Asking to hit or stay is a formality after
every hit you take. So the way Jim does it in his Black Jack game is
correct.

[Audyssey] jim's black jack game

2008-04-22 Thread 0722001794
Hi jim. Nicol here. I noticed something strange with your black jack game. when
i have 3 cards that equals 21. Say for instance initialy my first 2 cards is 2
sevenths that equal 14. Now the game asks if i want another card. I say yes and
the third card is also a 7 for instance. Now my question: now that i have 3
cards that equals 21 the game is not suppose to ask if i want another card
because 21 is the highest you can go without being busted. Yet when i have 3
cards equal to 21 the game askp me if i want another card. Obviously if i say
yes i will most definitely be busted. So the game is at that point suppose to
draw the dealer's cards instead of asking me if i want another card, isn't it?
